Walk away from people and don’t use your energy up on people like that, your energy is better used elsewhere . Negative energy can be turned into something positive and when I get angry with someone I am going doing to go write or draw or do something that I enjoy to take me away from the negativity and bring me back around to where I need to be

Great reminder! You never know what people are going through in their lives. People from all walks of life are struggling/suffering in their careers, marriages, health, etc. and you would never know it because they can pretend really well. Let us remember to treat each other with kindness because everyone has a cross to bear in life.

If u treat people like s**t...if u take people for granted...u use ur power to play with others life...no matter how rich ur how good looking ur how famous ur...or how talented u may be...it will not matter to them and it wont even impress anyone...its the character that counts...

I used to be the kindest person in the world who wouldn’t hurt a fly. I was hurt so many times and taken advantage of that I eventually turned cold. I didn’t want to be kind anymore. I stopped caring for others even the ones who have always been good and loyal to me. I just didn’t want to be hurt anymore. I recently hurt someone out of frustration with everything in my life and I feel like a piece of shit. I wish I could go back and apologize to that stranger but I can’t. All of this reminded how important being kind is and why the very trait that i let go of and started to hate was the greatest gift I possessed. My kindness is my superpower even when people hurt me I can at least say I did them no harm and walk away in peace. I shut people out and became cold for 2 years straight. I lost who I was. I will never go back to being that person again. I’m here to reclaim my greatness but more importantly to give as much love and goodness to the world as I possibly can. Please take my advice when I say that as painful as it is to be hurt by others, the pain of regret from hurting someone else is far worse. I will take being hurt over hurting someone else any day. I pray I never make a mistake like that again. Always always always be kind! The world so desperately needs it.

I am in the same path as you are. I have not reached a lvl where i stoped being kind, but the people around me are taking advantage of my kindness. I decided that being neutral with those kind of people is the best option. But being kind does not mean helping others. Some times not being kind is a better move then being kind. If you give a homless person money he might spend it on food or something else. But that homless person had a choice in life. And he took the wrong bath. But when someone does not have a choice then its urgent that that person gets help. I will always try to be kind to those who need it and for those who seek it. But those who see my kindness as a loophole or as a way to run over me. I stay neutral to those type of people and i would never help them out in anything. But i would talk laugh and even have fun with them. But never help, cause my help will only feed their greed even more.

I can totally relate to this! I, too, shut people for 2 years (+ a few months?). Unkindness comes from a roaring pain. But what I've learned is that, no matter how bad life has become, we will always go back to what we really are... kind people. We all are born kind. No one is naturally bad or is born bad. 🤍 And, yes, the pain caused by regret is a hundredfold.

I pray for this everyday especially now! More kindness, more kindness, compassion, helpfulness and smile at someone. Love 💜❤🧡💛💚💙💜

No, you might be decent and good and others choose to be unhappy still. You must only reflect on: am I living up to my own standards? Am I being decent honest and kind? etc Take your joy from that, take your self-worth from that. You cannot change how others choose to react so don't use others as a measuring stick of how successful you have been. Look for the beauty in Nature, in yourself and in others if you need beauty. But don't expect others to praise you or act fairly even if you are good and kind. People are imperfect out there, still learning. Also you are allowed to have boundaries while being a good person so you might choose to step away from some badly behaved people or say no to their demands. You're still a good person if you do this.

I believe if you come from a place of respect, understanding, and compassion being kind is essential in this negative world. After all the abuse I have suffered from people that told me they loved me, being kind is how I survive. I want to love and forgive people not only for them but for me, most of the time people do not understand themselves and why they behave as they do. Be kind. You never know what someone else is going through. You just may be the one to brighter their day or even save their life.

Thank you for the kindness in making this video. Kindness has a ripple effect that has the power to change the world from dark to light overnight. If we are going to fight, lets fight for each other, accept and love each other. Fix root causes of devastation when possible. Less materialism and more memories. My heart is filled to the brim with those who have been kind and even so the one's who haven't know to be kind (me at times too) as for in doing all things out of love, having no expectations, knowing to if but plant a mustard seed in each other's heart, that with faith, I believe it deserves nothing less then credit to our Lord and Savior and it to be doing His work, regardless of how we all differ, and He deserves the glory. A random guy at the gym decided to sanitize my stairmaster for me. I didn't know this man and he didn't work at the gym. It was such a nice gesture considering the world we live in. The earth takes care of me and I do reciprocate kind deeds.

I'm so thankful that being kind and compassionate comes natural to me. I like most people, even if they don't like me back. Every time I have an opportunity to make the world a better place I do my best to seize that opportunity. Anything I can do to make someone's life a little better, to make the world a better place is something I'm more than happy to do. I think the world is a truly wonderful place with so many truly amazing people, unfortunately a lot of people seem unaware of just how much in common they have with others and have been taught to see only the differences, instead of division by difference we should all unify around how amazing most people are. I understand that there are some bad people in the world who do bad things, but in most cases, there was something that happened to them that damaged their soul to where their moral compass no longer points north so to speak. But 99.9999% of people are truly wonderful, some a bit misunderstood, some have made mistakes but are still overall great people.

If we love, then kindness will come naturally. We should not only be kind to those who express concern and love for us, but practise acts of kindness and it will eventually become who we are, by forming an aspect of our personality.
