Great video. I've been taking up too much dirt, and I've gotta remove some tines
You could put those tines back in upside dowN facing forward. That way you keep them right with the rake and everything stays nice and tight.
Hey man, you are really good at explaining things. Keep up the great work and stay safe

Thank you, Hank!!! I have a 72" landscape rake and have so far just been using it with all the tines on it, but I like the idea of skipping like you have. I'll give it a go; I don't think I will be any less effective in clean up under my trees. As for your flower growing endeavors, where Gina wants to grow wildflowers for appearances, consider growing Texas Bluebonnets for seed. People here in Central T exas love them so much, and they may not have them volunteer on their property, so they look for seed stock. People come from miles (hundreds of miles!) to tour Central Texas for the Bluebonnets, Indian Blanket, Indian Paintbrush, Mexican Hat, Pinkladies, and so many others in March through May/June. Seed harvesting is a big deal, and people will buy!!! I like how you'd take all three things your daddy told you, on his deathbed, to your grave..... but couldn't remember #3! Unless I missed it! That's funny stuff!

Looks like the rake worked well. Maybe get a little field cultivator, like a 10', and run back over the field. It might pull up some more stuff before you risk hitting it with the tiller. Have a great day, Jason

When I was a mechanic in the Seabees, I was told using an adjustable when you have the correct wrench is wrong. Had an instructor catch me using one on one of the 350's and he chucked the wrench out into the parking lot.

does your tractor have to have down pressure before a rock rake is worth buying, my 32 h p ford doesn't have down pressure.
@HamiltonvilleFarm
3 ай бұрын
3 Point hitches don't produce down pressure. The weight of the implement is what creates the down pressure. You can add an hydraulic top link to help some.

Having 7 foot wide implements is a great idea on everything except a brush hog. Look at a 8 foot mower. They use a split gear box and pull much easier on your pto.

A rhino ts10 is a 10ft batwing with 1 hydraulic remote power up gravity down. Says as low as 25 pto hp can run it. But it runs great. If anyone is looking for a big bush hog.
