But for anyone trying to transition to this from a full time job. that's a lot of hours. For somebody without a fulltime job it sounds a lot better.

Even doing all the shorts or tiktok videos it won't ever work for me, when my Stream on Kick is always unstable regardless of how low of high my bitrate is.. ive been trying to get that shit sorted out for the last 4 months

100 Hours a month is reasonable I thought streamers were lazy longform content is fun too.

@@JackHomer being honest. My plan to start streaming didn’t go as plan, but we getting some new parts. I’ve been editing and scripting. I don’t want to post anything until I have the stream going(probably another excuse). Everything irl is going great though.

I’m really tempted to get into streaming, but realistically I work a 9-5 job, have kids, have a house and just other responsibilities to take care of. I’ll only be able to stream a few hours Friday night and Saturday, I mean would it even be worth it to try?

Go for it bro! I think consistency is the biggest part. Might have to play some games you wouldn't have played otherwise. The worst case scenario is you make a little money to offset the cost of your gaming setup!

twitch is dead, kick is going to take over since they actually care about their supporters unlike twitch tossing 30 second ads on everything not to mention banning streamers for streaming to multiple platforms

I know my streams looks like shit but also I’m streaming from my Xbox and that’s the best I can do for now. Artist are always telling I need a banner and stuff and I know but also I lost my job I’m flat ass broke and this is the only thing keeping me together. I do need to get better on social media 100 percent cause I suck at it but I’m trying to get at that.but it’s hard when you don’t have the resources and you keep being told hey your stream sucks but I’m like I’m doing the best I can with what I have which isn’t much. Just a Xbox a webcam and a laptop that I can’t stream from 😂. I have started editing video and learning that to put up clips on my twitter and Instagram

The creator incentive program isn’t designed for people that currently can’t put in the work. It is designed to be extra income for the creators that are in that position to do so. Almost like the harder you work = the more you get.
