That is one HELLUVA pool. When I discovered your channel and found you had this pool, I was instantly hooked. My discovery that I love bathing in icy water happened 40+ years ago, and I can't get enough. Literally. We live in a 1964, 1,365 sq.ft. tract home in the California Bay Area, and there's no cold pools close enough to me. I suppose I'll need to do something about it one day. I've always loved the idea of having a pond large enough that not only local wildlife would benefit, but where I too could have a dunk in it. This journey of yours is inspirational! Mine won't be anything like yours (thank God!!) but your pool is astonishingly beautiful, and may you long enjoy it, as I know you all and many future generations of Hinchingbrookes (et.al.) will, even if it's just to see and/or knowing it's there. I am so happy that you've (all) managed to come all the way to this point, it is a true wonder and a marvel! Many blessings to you and yours, from California.❤

I want to thank you for the content! I love your project - I am a 60 year old and I have been managing a swimming pool nearly 45 years - my parents had an inground that I worked on and then later in my life the house I purchased has one - I rebuilt both and funny enough I work for a company that manages pool chemistry - I have been managing or rebuilding inground pools for a very long time - I dont profess I am a pro but I love your topic and WOW I often wondered what and HOW they made pools like yours - INFACT the topic of this video was what drew me in - I actually laughed and thought omg they had pools 300 years ago? LOL I suppose yes, but WOW you 2 have such an amazing home I am thrilled to finish watching this video - but your enthusiasm totally captured my attention - GOOD FORM! GREAT JOB! amazing what you did there!!!! I look forward to seeing how you manage the chemistry? BTW I work for ECOLAB we do all the pools in all Disney Parks! Cheers!!!!

Hello from Queensland Australia, Julie you show that an American can join British society. Love watching you two. Good thing they were frogs and not toads like we have here. It is very rare to see a green frog in our garden. We do have heaps of frilly lizards. Maybe one day we will get back to the UK, and maybe pop in for a spot of tea. 😊
