It seems like you cope, by living your life at full speed. My son (11 years old) recently started playing baseball, and the few times he hit the ball, and ran towards first base, we noticed that he started running strong, and as he was almost to first base, he decreased his speed and got tagged out. We asked him why he slowed down instead of running harder, and he told us that he thought that he was going to get tagged out anyway. No, we told him, run harder and run through the base. Don't run like you're already out. Run like you're already in (and maybe you will be). Bad stuff is a part of life but if we live our life like we've already lost then we don't stand a chance of scoring, living, laughing, succeeding (at anything). Emily you are living life!

I am painfully aware that we are all dying. However, I prefer seeing it a little different; we are all living at different speeds. Because, you don't have to spend your time dying rather spend it living at whatever speed is unique to you! Be happy and enjoy it!...

We get asked how we cope and it's hard to answer except that we're there for each other when one is down, we try and stay positive but there are bad days, where we just love each other and stand together! The best to both of my favorite two on KZread!

You both are amazing! You both are so blessed to have each other and you are right, it is all about the people you surround your self with and the positive thinking.

Sometimes when you look at someone who is ill, you see the disease. But when I look at Emily, I see Emily. I see someone who is sharing her victories as well as her harder times. I see someone who is sharing her story in hopes of helping others who may be struggling as well. I love that she has such a circle of support, from Aisha, to her family, to her wacky group of hysterical friends, to people like me who happened upon her KZread channel simply by chance and offer prayers and words of support.

I’ve just read a load of comments on here from the last 2 or 3 days & I can’t believe how some people are behaving, bickering with other people about what they said, how they said it etc etc. We all have our own observations & opinions & not everyone will agree with them but this is not the place to make snide comments to others. We all support Emily & are hoping she will pull through. She is in hospital at the moment, in case some of you don’t know so let’s all keep our fingers crossed that she will feel better soon & be able to go home. I’m an actual doctor and refrain from commenting medical advice because Emily has her own team that knows her very well! And we only see snippets of their day. Emily knows herself best and if she wants to stay positive then we should do nothing but send her positivity!!

Honestly, watching everything, I super believe it's your choice in perspective, expecting what you expect as though it's already manifested X 2 and I think the universe has no other choice but to give you what you put out. I mean, I'm listening to what you're saying and then I'm watching how it comes about thereafter. Even some of the lesser positive stuff, honestly. Y'all are a powerhouse. Aisha's job, your friends, whatever other fortunate things coming in... I think you both get through it with each other!! Aisha is such an angel 😇I think everyone needs to remember that Emily is a personal trainer and not some Tom Dick and Harry going to the gym. I’m sure she can gauge what she can or can’t do. And to everyone writing about the caffeine, water, etc, you have no idea what you’d do in the situation and let Emily live her damn life. She drinks A TON of water if you’ve ever watched previous vlogs.

Now I am back where I live in Uganda and it feels weird to be away from the same country as you. While I was riding the trains I thought it would be so cool to bump into you guys, but never did. Just saw this update on Instagram so am quoting it here "emilyhayward.ptEmily was admitted to hospital on Saturday evening, we are unsure of exactly what is wrong with her at the moment but we think it could be an infection. We just wanted to let everyone know that she is continuing to fight but we will both be taking a break from social media so we can focus on getting Emily better.
