My husband was very nervous about a job interview today. I used your wise advice and said to him you are the same person going in and as coming out. I know it’s nowhere near the same mental battle you guys are facing but it really helped him. He got the job, this is our new life mantra. Keep strong ❤️

@@sharonplant4102 hey guys! I'm so sorry for not replying, I only just saw the notifications! But you're all so sweet for asking :) I'm doing fine thank you! I went through a year of treatment (the tablets that Em was on), and so far have not had the cancer come back and am currenly 'No evidence of disease'. I'll be coming up to my 3 year mark this September since my diagnosis which is crazy. I'm currently going through a pretty gruelling treatment called tissue expansion on my head though to try and minimise the skin graft that I was left with, and it has only just restarted since being put on pause due to Covid. But this is more reconstructive treatment and nothing life threatening. Hope you are all doing well! Lots of love to you all xxx

Still here in 2021. I was one of the under 1000 supporters. Emily is right Aisha could have a very supported channel. The planet needs her motivational outlook and yes she always always looked fasionably put together.

I think what she's doing is spot on, Diana Murray. If going to the gym takes her away from her health issues only briefly, it's a good thing. Excercise is invigorating.

Gotta vote that she works out whenever she feels the desire to work out. Like she said, muscle kills cancer! And the endorphins you get are amazing, uplifting and completely invigorating. Living your best life is key. There's power in doing so and if she's not evidence of that, Idunno who or what is.

Emily, you look better today and your color is back. So many folks were worried about you from the last video and it is so important you not over do it. I also think the mental part of being at that fitness conference got you down but it is so important to focus on yourself and not to worry about others. Some day soon you may be back up to full strength but in the meantime focus on you. Praying for you everyday kiddo and stay positive😍

Yes Aisha ... you've got that natural sense of fashion & would love to see your channel! Life is about ebb & flow Emily no matter if we're medicated or not. Don't be so hard on yourself. If you were constantly up, I'd not feel you're authenticity as I do. That's part of the trouble with being strong - we feel weak if we have a wobbly moment or six. That we're doing something wrong if we show our vulnerability. If we are lucky enough to have the right people around us, they ride the waves with us and love us no matter. Totally get the crappy feeling among healthy ppl. I have had FM/CFS and lupus since age 18 (1984), cancer the last 2 yrs. Doing really well for me, sticking to the mega healthy eating regime, best I have been in years, and the most energy. But being around healthy ones that are doing loads and will do it again tomorrow really brings me down sometimes. There is nothing I can't do if I plan my rests and do stuff in small amounts. Want you to know that you really encourage me to keep going and not to give up, so just a msg back to you to keep on going and don't give up. Much love and respect forever, and a huge thank you xxx

Oh love suit the wife x I went to the gym tonight, 1st time and I loved it, im a lump an disabled an old bird at 52, I felt loads watching me, but got to get me a pt as I had heart attack at 44 an got heart disease, and no idea what I’m doing, but you inspired me not to just sit there an try and better myself an a lot worse off than me x thank you the other wife, tomoz is quit smoking an to try and eat healthy x try and make the best of what I have left xx so thank you wife’s, your both amazing and incredibly strong, lots of love to you both xxxx

Weetabix! I still eat Weetabix; we can actually buy it here in the US, though I can't imagine Americans eating it. It's a very peculiar taste. My daughters eat it. . . I passed that on to them! You're not a hypochondriac; you are dealing with an awful lot, and it's hard to know whether what you're experiencing is the cancer, a side-effect of treatment, or something else like a virus. Hi Emily, seeing you cry on the last video made me cry. But please don’t apologize to us! You are so strong, but you are allowed to have down moments for God’s sake! I completely understand what you felt being surrounded by “healthy” people...I don’t have cancer but suffer from mental illness and in my dark times, I felt so alone and being out in public can be hard. But you said it yourself, some said you wouldn’t even alive at this point!!! Please take care and rest when you need it! This was a babble, but I hope I got the thought across! You are just awesome. You both are. Here I am moaning as the heat is making me feel ill and you're dealing with this on a daily basis. You look so much brighter today than Sunday. My heart broke for you this weekend. It's a cruel part of illnesses, more so in your situation, literally facing who we were or who we still see ourselves as and the realisation that we've changed. I hope this makes sense? In no way do I claim to know how you feel, as someone on a totally different journey (?) (Chronic pain and multiple conditions) the grief cycle is something I've had to face and it's helped me to rationalize so many emotions, thoughts and feelings. Learning to accept I'm not who I was, I probably won't ever be again, but learning to find peace with that took time. A lot of time. As I learnt it's not a fluid a to z in that we grieve and move on. We can bounce around the grief cycle multiple times before finding this inner peace with stuff. In order to accept my life now I had to grieve properly for my life I had. I did this with the help of my pain clinic. Now I do hope I'm not coming across as preaching. I just wondered if it's been mentioned with you before, have you had counselling alongside your treatments (apologies for not knowing so if I'm repeating stuff already done ignore me) But seeing you hurt as you face a world you were once so immersed in just reminded me of my own self healing on who I was Vs who I am. Also please pace/rest when your body is telling you too. Plus drink more 😉 hydration plays a huge part in how we feel. 🤗 Ok. I'm shutting up now. Love you byeeeeee ♥️

Don't forget Emily the drugs make you feel ill as well as helping you. Lots of love hug and more hugs

Yes! Cereal, porridge, yogurt...always has to be a small spoon! While I know it doesn't compare to what you're going though, I related to the comment about being surrounded by healthy people. I have Type 1 diabetes and ME so I can feel wrecked a lot of the time surrounded by people who appear super healthy. I can only imagine how you feel! Keep up the videos. Whatever happens you are a champion.
