This was literally 10 days before she passed 🥺😢

I’ve thought a lot about Emily and what made her journey through such tough times so successful. I’ve decided it’s her attitude of gratitude. She was so grateful for everything she had. When she lost her license she was grateful for her eye sight. When her tumours grew she was grateful she didn’t have any new ones. No matter what bad came her way she effortlessly found the brighter side of her situation. To be dying of cancer. To have it in multiple organs including your brain and to say you wouldn’t change a thing is beyond amazing. The last years of her life could have been horrible for her yet she made them the best years of her life simply by appreciating all the good things she had.

Can everyone cut down on the 'don't eat this, don't eat that, eat only this, this food feeds cancer...' Just let Em eat how she wants to eat, keeping her appetite and keeping her body nourished is more important than all this nonsense. If you want to give advice, just share some research politely and let Em choose what she wants to listen to. But if she listened to all of you, the poor girl would be starving.

Not to mention that taking medical advice from random strangers on the internet posting references to random sites on the internet would be just plain dumb. The problem with "this diet or that diet cures/prevents cancer" is that it implies that people who get cancer did something wrong and implies blame. Cancer is random mutations that occur based on certain proteins and gene mutations. Yes, there are certain things we know cause cancer. Sun exposure can cause melanoma, but not everyone who tans gets cancer, and I don't think Em was ever a sun worshipper; she's described herself as "moley." Cigarette smoking can cause lung cancer and bladder cancer, but not everyone who smokes gets these, and some who get those cancers never smoked. To a large degree, it's just the luck of the draw. So is treatment. Some people respond well, others don't. Every cancer is as individual as the person who has it. So let's pipe down on the medical advice too unless you know what you're talking about, 'mkay?

Oh sweetheart you've left us all so quickly after this was filmed. You fought like a warrior. You were and will always be amazing.

That beautiful face just light up when she smiled and how she kept going to the end was beyond me. She went through so much but Aisha was the key to it ..... how wonderful it is to find true unconditional love.

Best line of the video (besides my favourite “what’s going on you lot” lol) was “Ahhh look. Beautiful” when Emily panned the camera towards Aisha 😭😭😭💕your love is an example for us all!!

She is at peace now. I hope god grants her paradise. She is a lovely person x

I agree with your sentiment, but God is not real. And Im glad hes not. What kind of God would give such a gorgeous soul so much torture to endure. She stayed postive till the end and she still died from the disease all the same. If god is real, hes a fucking asshole

You can really see here how ems speech is becoming dragged out and slurred, she is such a beautiful person, I wish I would’ve known her! She inspired me to live a better life!

RIP Emily. This is the hard truth of many cancer stories unfortunately. I was rooting for you , Sophia (and others) so much hoping you’d make it. I think both of you are extremely brave having gone through that horrible pain. You’re pain free now. Fly high. We will remember you!

Poor Em everytime I watch back these are always the ones that make me sad. Almost all of Ems vlogs are so incredibly uplifting. She was at the end of her tether here but still driving on... What a trooper she was. Xx her words 'life just goes so fast' could not be truer.

Em,ily did so much in her short life, my sister died at 27, in many ways Emily had the same spirit as my sister. I find it hard to write any thing here, but i did always watch the vids Emily did, such a truely lovely person, no matter how hard it got for her you could see she never give up. i know if i had even met Emily we would have had a good chat and put the world to right. But it is such a loss and Emily has left this world but left a mark in so many hearts, Sleep now sweet lady free from pain.

I watch back at these videos and am astonished at how fast you left us Em. On one hand im glad you didnt linger in so much torment and pain but on the other hand, I miss you so much. I Can't express how much i admire you and your strength. I have an uncle who is in his final stages, he's currently in a hospice. I've watched you since we found out his news you just kind of fell together at the same time. He has such an attitude like you and has like you shown the doctors who's really in charge of this. I admire both of you and your courage. You've given me strength in ways I can't explain. I really look forward to your videos. All my love, thoughts and strength is sent to both of you x

Omg I forgot I meant to ask Emily to turn the music down a little. :D My speakers are old and the bass is waay too intense compared to the rest of the sound and I can't change that. I also watch British people quite loudly, because I'm not a native speaker. The result - when the music suddenly starts, the whole building is shaking. :D

I only started watching Emily's vlogs in January 2020. She has had a profound impact on me and my view of life. I wish I had a chance to meet Emily to thank her for showing others how to deal with such a cruel illness and maintain such a positive approach. Emily's vlogs will live on and inspire many people. Don’t worry Emily we all know you. If your brain cancer causes symptoms it’s not your fault, it’s all neurological. We all know the real Emily loving kind funny sweet caring well I could go on all day. It’s that beautiful soul that matters not much else. We would still love you even if you did something crazy or said something crazy or awful we still love you it’s all neurological thanks for not leaving us. ❤️ I didn’t think you would as you know we’ve grown to love you. ❤️ Being an RN with a history of oncology nursing I know a little about your cancer And you’ve already beat the odds and amazed me. Last year, my mum was diagnosed with a carcinoid tumour in her lung. Almost a year to the day, they’ve now found a lump in her breast which needs to be investigated. The thought that her cancer may have come back has absolutely destroyed me. My mum is my best friend and I’ve been an emotional wreck. On Monday we find out what happens now. I came across your blog last week. I’ve sat and watched every video from start to finish and the strength and positivity I’ve found since watching you guys has been unbelievable!! I’ve gone from crying myself to sleep every night through fear, to feeling like we can and will get through anything. And it’s honestly all down to you two! I’m ready for Monday and ready to fight, if that’s what we need to do! Thank you! Praying your results are as good as they can be. All my love to the both of you, your families and your friends xxx

So, I was looking at the part in your video while you were waiting for scans, and had the camera on aisha, and she just shines with beauty and love. Not just outer physical beauty, but inner beauty and light, and it reminded me of the Qand A question when someone asked something along the lines of if Aisha had always been with women, or if your relationship was a case of falling in love with the PERSON. Aisha said it was a case of falling for the person(you) regardless of your gender and because of how wonderful you are. As a woman myself, who has only ever been with men, I have had a hard time in the past understanding how that would be, how one could suddenly want to be with another female (or male, if it were a man) and what that would look like. I've never been able to understand that type of.. switch, I guess you could say. Where someone who has previously identified as "straight", can suddenly be attracted to another person of their own sex...(Even though I couldn't figure it out in my head, I never had any prejudice towards it, just to clarify). However, during my time watching all of your videos, and feeling like I actually know you guys and your personalities, I have completely changed my thought on that. I can ABSOLUTELY see how Aisha could have fallen in love with you, Em. Your personality and just everything about you is. Magnetic, you shine with inner beauty and a love for life. I can also see how Em could be so in love with Aisha... Aish, you possess a rare quality that I wish was not rare, I wish that many more people around the world could be SO loving, so optimistic and quietly fiercely strong without being outwardly mean, or harsh or hateful. Aisha has an inner beauty of her own, and I feel like I can actually FEEL her love for Emily when I watch how she takes care of her in tiny ways people don't often notice, as well as in huge ways, with her sacrifices and hard work, and constant positivity and pep talks that keep Em going. I feel that Aisha is a huge part of keeping you, Em, strong, and keeping you going like you have been. She is a force all on her own, but together you two are amazing. The both of you in this vlog have made us so greatful for every day that we have here on earth, shown us the power of positivity, taught us all about the true physical, mental and emotional fight that a cancer patient has to go on a daily basis, and helped others that are fighting their own battles to away strong and keep pushing just like you. In addition to that, you two have taught me about TRUE love, that it is blind, it doesn't care about the person's sex, or color, or health, or any other differences. True love she's through ALL of that, and we should too. Maybe if some of us stopped putting so many constraints and rules on who we should/shouldnt talk to/date/ fall in love with. If we STOPPED making decisions based on what others will think/say/feel, stopped letting family/religious/societal rules, etc dictate our decisions, and maybe if we just honestly allow ourselves to have feelings for whoever our hearts want, regardless of their appearence/gender/type/class etc, then maybe more people would find the happiness and love that you guys have together. Just a thought I've had a few times while watching your videos.
