She was always thinking of other people. So completely selfless! Imagine apologizing for her video being depressing. She had absolutely nothing to apologize for. She was inspiring more than anything.

I love everything about this beautiful girl (except the cancer obviously) what isn't there to love? She was first class. A role model.

It's so sad that we see Emily here so full of energy and life and less than 2 months later she's gone 😞

Emily Hayward Damn your dinner looked good. I took steroids and doubled in size, unfortunately they caused my spine to crumble meaning I can no longer walk. The weight goes on no matter what you eat or do. I struggle to accept my broken body. It’s the opposite from what it was prior to getting sick. You’ve taught me that I need to stop feeling sorry for myself and not worry when people stare at me in pity. Hopefully one day I will be able to go out without a panic attack. I want my life back....

I was on steroids for a while too. I couldn't sleep. I was hungry all the time . If you put weight on, there will be more of you to love, that s all.

Emma Stone I was on them a few months and developed osteoporosis as a result which led to spinal fractures and a few broken ribs. On top of that my other conditions didn’t help. It made no difference what I ate, I seemed to put on weight from air. Mind you, I couldn’t go to the gym like Emily does so that will hold her in great stead, both muscle and bone strength wise

August Jensen You are so right. Emily’s videos have taught me that. I’m not gonna lie, I was seriously thinking about committing suicide as I’m in so much pain etc but having watched Emily’s videos it made me realise how incredibly selfish I was being to even think of that. I know it all makes sense logically BUT when I’m in the wheelchair and feeling incredibly vulnerable and being spoken to in a condescending manner, it’s hard to think logically.

Echo 9970 I wasn’t made aware of the dangers of steroids or the possibility of fractures etc. It was only after my spine crumbled that they informed me that the steroids would have caused that. I can’t fault the NHS though, the service has been fantastic

I have wondered that same thing often! I finally decided 1. they’re immature trolls 2 they aren’t smart enough to use their time on what they do like- that’s right there is a back button, nobodies truly trapped on any video, 3. possibly thinking they are disliking cancer and/or the fact Emily has to deal with that horrible disease in the first place 4. the cat did it!

Just an FYI - I've been on steroids many different times and I always get swelling, particularly in my face. Not a huge amount, just more of a puffiness. Loved your date night! You were both so beautiful and the smile on Aisha's face when she saw her ring was breathtaking!! Keeping you both in my thoughts and sending good karma daily.

I had dead straight hair and then after losing all my hair due to chemo, when it started growing back it came back curly and thicker.

My Mom's came back wavy and with some curls in the back. Before she had very thin, straight hair.

Lol yes mine came back curl and redish colour the first time the second time brownish, curly and fine, I use to have stright not even a wave, thick and golden colour ,

I know you get this type of comment every day but I just wanted to say that finding your channel has happened to me at just the right time as it is making me so grateful for what I have. I had a brain haemorrhage in June 2016 and had to have surgery on my brain in November 2017. I had just gotten back to the person I was before my haemorrhage, in fact I ran a marathon in 3:06 a week before and the recovery from surgery has been full of twists and turns. I too have put on weight and at times felt that I was so far from that person that I would never return. I was expecting too much from myself but I have accepted now that I need to take it slowly and watching your videos and your positive mental attitude inspires me every day. Your motivation is truly amazing. My own mother died from cancer over 10 years ago. (It also went to her brain) When she was sick she never believed it would kill her and for the longest time I have found it hard that she never spoke to us about life when she might be gone or even said goodbye to us but watching your videos has helped me understand her mentality. Thank you so much. I wish you all the best on the rest of your cancer voyage. Yourself and Aisha are an amazing couple and are very lucky to have such an amazing relationship. x

In short nothing you eat will substantially affect your acid/base balance as your body is amazing at regulating this itself and will automatically correct for any dietary factors! The normal pH range of your blood is 7.35-7.45 or slightly basic/alkaline, the main way in which your body controls this balance is through your kidneys through either retaining or removing different chemicals/electrolytes to maintain a balance. The other way your body automatically corrects your balance if needed is by adjusting the rate at which you breathe to either remove or retain more/less carbon dioxide. That being said green veg is great!! Jade P your food does affect your acid base balance in your body. Your blood stays stable, but organs and tissues can be affected. Emily, you can test your acidity/alkalinity with urine strips.

I think it’s important that you share when you are struggling and not at your best because there are others out there going through the same thing who need to know you have those days or moments too but you get through them. I find your videos so inspiring. I don’t have cancer so I have no idea what you guys are going through but it’s honestly so amazing to see two young women be so positive not just because of the cancer but just that you have such positive views on life which is contagious in a world that is filled with so much negativity. Your last video feeling on missing out I think that applies to everyone, everyone’s scared of wasting their life away, just keep doing what your doing having fun and all the positivity! Keep on it with the healthy diet, it will benefit your body. I have health conditions that are all inflammatory linked and all drs say veg and fruit, no rubbish and it will have a positive effect on your body and mind set, I think your gym going and salads clean eating is a huge part of this healhy body and mind mind set that you have too.
