I got one of those Lenovo Legion T5 Prebuilts. It was the i5 11500 and GTX 1660 Super version I got on sale for $700 at the time. The first upgrades were Ram and I got a Tower Cooler with RGB. It lasted well the 1660 Super was fine for 1080p Gaming. I still use 1080p for gaming and upgraded my graphics card to the 3060 12GB when it went on sale. Been working fine for me 3 years now.

I bought my MSI Aegis R 13NUD-461US Newegg refurb through eBay. Thing was perfect, and actually came with a 16gb 4060ti instead of the 8gb in the listing. They also used a stock image that showed an AIO and came with a tower cooler instead. It was still a great deal IMO. About to drop a 4070S in it this weekend.

Nice! 4070 Super is a great card, shame about it having only 12gb vram. I play at 1440p ultrawide, its not an issue, yet..

Buddy of mine picked up 1 of thes Lenovo Legion PCs back in the day when Zen2 was the current hotness. Came with a R5 3600,16GB in dual channel & a 1660Ti out of the box for for $700 which was a decent deal at the time

For the money, spec wise not bad, not bad at all. Don't love the 3060, but here it makes total sense.

i was hoping my first pc would have rtx 3060 i didnt know the specs or cost to performance thus i went with a rtx 3050 8gb with a i5 12400

I was actually emailing a pcbros guy about this pc but an Amazon refurb a few months back. I love this pc but running windows 10. After some research the reason there’s so many refurbs of this model. There was some issue with the audio driver and windows 11 causing BSOD. I added a tower cooler on mine because the fan noise got super loud. I couldn't use XMP ram on this mobo, I had to buy JEDEC with the same speed.

I build a 8500g pc and get decent frames with most games on low to mid tbh. Planned ahead and gonna use it for my automotive business at my family shop once im ready to upgrade the 8500g and motherboard to something good. I have a extra set of ddr5 and a psu sooooo.... waiting for the next gen then gonna upgrade😂 i only spent 550± on the hole build so works for me

That's a great model.. I had an AMD version a while back, and it was very good. I gave it to my buddy as a wedding gift. He loves the ARGB. As a note, mine came with the box cooler. I ordered the OEM tower cooler from a Lenovo parts supplier.. I would NOT recommend that to anyone as it was... wait for it... $140.. single tower with Lenovo ARGB fan. But my unit had the CPU plate glued to the back of the motherboard. So the options were to use a heat gun to try and pry it off to replace it with something that I could use with a standard cooler or bite the bullet and get the tower. In the end, it was worth it for me because I wanted the tower cooler with a factory ARGB fan, etc. It did not really do much for thermals however, given that my unit shipped with a Ryzen 3600. Anyway, very nice little PC. I'd love to have the intel 12th gen variety. Cheers Rick

i have a similar one from Lenovo i have the 3060 12gb vram too 16gb 3600 ddr4 with a r5 5600g for 650 on Walmart. Its just a temporary pc till I'm able to start working and build a 7900 xt pc.

I have this - new with tower cooler. I like it.

Yea EU prices are insane. But got a good deal on a 4070 Super for 649 euro. Price went up next day though to 779 euro. I got the Zotac Trinity model.

I had this one last year. .I changed cpu cooler ..No xmp support but good deal for. this price

They have others on their page that have 3070's and 11th gen i7's in them for like $700. Insane deals over there.

Funnily enough that's exactly how that PC is shipped from Lenovo, original box, original foam and original accessories (yes Lenovo gives you the office mouse/keyb)

I bought my pre built almost 4 years ago now. Since then i upgraded the RAM, CPU and storage. Due to the company cheaping out on the motherboard i can't uograde the GPU yet

so your cpu comes with stock cooler, only the 12700 and up came a tower cooler, I know this because I have had 2 of these with 3060 and a 3070

This platform from lenovo is fairly upgradable from the looks of it. IF you wanted you could swap the motherboard out and the cooler for something better but out of the box it seems to run better than dell. dell being the bare minimum is so low that anything that functions better than it for cheaper is always a W

here in canada these would retail at approx 1500 to 1700cdn in 2022

Hey Toasty Bros. I’m currently looking at an EBay Refurbished Alienware Aurora R10 w/ Ryzen 7 5800X, 16gb ram, 1TB SSD, NIVIDA GeForce GTX 1060, and Windows 10 Pre-Installed. The seller is wanting $589.99 w/ free shipping. I’ve never owned a Gaming PC but I’ve owned a normal pc In the past. I know a little bit about gaming PCs but obviously i don’t own any. Should I get the Alienware as a great first starter? I also have an asus laptop but it’s very slow so I can’t play games like Garry’s mod. I’d probably use it a lot since I’m a console player wanting to switch to PC. Anyone’s advice is helpful!
