How Trevor Noah Challenges His Beliefs

Trevor Noah is a radio and television host and a comedian. You may know him from The Daily Show or his book 'Born A Crime'. He joins us to talk about the Power of Humor and what shaped his sense of it.
To explore what it takes to create meaningful human connection at work, in life, and in the spaces where the two overlap, we are launching, ‘The INBOUND Studio’, featuring short video interviews with remarkable people from across the worlds of pop culture, business, philanthropy, and academia.
Our goal is to bring together diverse viewpoints around specific topics that speak to what it means to be human. For each topic, we’ll bring a mix of the usual suspects, as well as new voices in the space. Our goal for you as the audience is to give you access to interesting individuals and provide moments of inspiration.
The first series of The INBOUND Studio dissects, ‘The Power of Humor,’ featuring conversations with Trevor Noah, Tig Notaro, Andy Borowitz, Steve Cody and Lakshmi Balachandra.
INBOUND's purpose is to provide the inspiration, education, and connections you need to transform your life and business. The INBOUND Studio provides year-round interviews with remarkable people.

I hear “comedy is like sex” hahaha pretty accurate and funny😂😂⚽️ Everything my brother Trevor says is a serious point but infuses humor in it and spices it up even better! I am not kidding but my future dream is to have coffee with this guy and listen to him talk all day. Proud of you my brother!

@3:22 - "very charming"? You said he was a man in the family who also was abusive - who beat on your grandmother. Which is it?10:03 - going to far... 'well, I like Louis CK - so many think he's a crass foul-mouthed creep - but I like him'.

  • @laurenscott9380

Just because someone is an abuser doesn't mean they can't be charming - that's a common trait among abusers, and that's how many of them mask their devious ways. I know someone like that

The two are not mutually exclusive. Often, it's a double duo for obvious reasons. If you're always openly awful, how would you lure anyone in to eventually abuse?
