@trallegas6589
2 жыл бұрын
exactly,thats what getting better means.If you're a noob you might not be able but i think someone thats 1400 + should be able to win against magnus like 80% of the time at least
@goodknyght4319
2 жыл бұрын
@@trallegas6589 But this is the world champion we are talking about. He can swindle a draw (or even a win). Not to mention he could employ some tricks or tactics, and he is a phenomenal endgame player. It's like saying you could win against Magnus with queen odds. If that is too much, maybe just rook or bishop/knight odds. Yes, probably, you can win. But there's a chance you'll mess up somewhere in the opening or middlegame.
@trallegas6589
2 жыл бұрын
@@goodknyght4319 agreed,thats why i said 80% of the time,it also depends greatly on the time format,if it was blitz but i had queen odds im not sure i'd be able to win at all,maybe i'd get a couple wins here and there but if the same thing applied to classical i'd bet my entire life savings that i'd be able to beat magnus up a queen,in that endgame i wouldnt go that far but,again,if it was classical i wouldnt be too worried tbh,specially since i tried playing it against the engine and found it quite easy to win.If i had anything less than rook odds in classical tho thats where i start to think i might not be able to secure even a draw against magnus (im currently 1800 if that info helps in any way)

Hope you’re feeling alright, Levy. Stay strong with the back injury.

always happy about a new video from you, keep it up! wanted to let you know, that the audio in the new room has a bit of echo. probably you already have it planed but some sound dampening panels would probably go a long way.
I've been waiting for this for so long, Thank you so much gotham!
I absolutely love this series. Very instructive content Levy well done!
Just got your beginner bootcamp. Was already 850 but it still helps solidifying my game. Hoping to get an opening in a couple of months too with your code. Love your work.
ty for posting levy, it really made my day since I got my second COVID shot and had a pretty bad headache, and ur video made me feel a lot better. Keep up the good work!!! :)
Hey Lev, mind playing a French defense here or there in a “win at chess?” All the best.
This is the best series! Thank you, Levy 🙌🏼
GOTHAM!! I learn so much from you! Thanks for helping us neophytes to understand the game the way a pro does. It's immense! The general strategy before specific moves, tactics, just... everything. We appreciate it!
That last game was super intense! Always fun to get your thoughts while you play!
I love Ur content, always stick around for the full video, and love implementing your strategies in my games. I'm only rated 600 but have risen from a 300 through watching and studying ur vids between a couple weeks of casual play.
Waiting for the next guess the elo... I love that series so much

Rooting for you Levy! Your videos always make my day!
Bro, you're excellent teaching is why I went from 500 (but really lie what 700-800?) to 1175 in the matter of a couple months. Thanks a lot, wish you more success in your life dude. I know you say that it's the person moving the pieces who is responsible for the progression but man, you have taught me a lot and helped me progress so yes, you do get some credit whether you like it or not!
Yesss i've been waiting so long for another ep
I love when Levy calls the computer a scumbag🤣🤣
Finally, music that can be played on KZread, I dig it 46:14
The trap at 5:16 is quite nice, you get a bishop for two pawns, but black will have a hard time defending everything because the h file is open for the rook to attack. Also, the queen, the queenside knight, and the other bishop can jump in. It won't give black too much advantage in general. (Of course white can also play this)
Thanks to your streams, I now eat bananas way more often, good source of potassium and preventing cramps that I'd experienced previously. You're the dietitian!

Hey, Levy! I am a big fan of your work, keep doing this great job, your vídeos always makes me fell happy, thanks a lot! I do have one question: In game 3 the guy plays Rook b8, hanging a rook for a bishop, what can we do to avoid this one move blunders? This happens a lot with me. =(
