This year in October I was diagnosed with scoliosis and I started wearing my brace in December. So I decided to compete in the NAM. National American Miss for Arkansas. I am only 12 years old. I am going to try my best to win. So I can let people know that what you wear doesn't make others worth more than you. They may bully you but they don't understand how it feels.

This was wonderful. Definitely holding onto this. Thank you!

Hi Nia! Do you have any advice about not "playing head games" with yourself? Sometimes before and during competition? Sometimes it is hard not to fall into a head space of comparing myself to other contestants in every phase of competition!

The crown that Nia worn was made 1 time because it was expensive but the crown that Susie and Shandi crown was cheap so they made many of them

There is actually quite a lot you can do. I competed for 5 years. If it was as simple as, either you are liked or not. Then I would have won the first time I competed

agree with be different. start with a good bio/profile if you have none build a good one and join next year . look at the most recent miss USA... there were oceans of cheerleaders. not that being cheerleader bad is just that if the girl in the front of the line and the girl in front of you and at your back are cheerleaders the last thing you might want to put there is that you are also one. the technically trained dancers made it further than them in the competition i think 2 reached the top 5 i think one is ballet and the other one is contemporary/jazz .

Hi love thank you for sharing your thoughts/opinion in a respectful way. This is my channel and I feel comfortable sharing my thoughts and opinions. One thought to address. I accepted the title before he ever announced that he was running for president. When I worked for him I had no issues with him at all. I am now currently not a fan of the way he carries himself in many situations. That is what I was referring to.
