How to wash the inside of Arai helmet - Arai Tour X5 cleaning!

In today's video, I am excited to bring you an in-depth tutorial on disassembling and cleaning the interior of the latest Arai Tour X-5 helmet, a state-of-the-art release from the renowned Japanese helmet manufacturer, Arai.
This guide is meticulously designed to show you how to safely remove the cheek pads and their linings, clean the fabric with the Arai-recommended shampoo detergent, and then carefully reinstall the cheek pads back into the helmet. The 'How to install the interior of an Arai helmet' is started by demonstrating safe removal the lining on top of your head, without rupturing the stitches and shape of the temple lining, as one component of a helmet's interior. The ventilation holes inside the helmet are demonstrated. A special emphasis is placed on the finest details to ensure that you can perform your cleaning without causing any damage to your helmet, and the disassembly procedure is here described by instrumental precision, following Arai's guidelines.
Take a look as I walk you through each step, ensuring your Arai Tour X-5 remains in pristine condition. The instructions cover everything in the Arai manual for the Arai Tour X5 helmet.

Thank you for the excellent video! I have a signet-x, it is very similar. I put the cheek pads on the wrong side so many times lol. Good tip to do them completely separately.

Such a nice helmet, but I wish it didn't cost 900€ for colored versions :( Arai Interior is just perfect.

Do you have a suggestion to clean out the channel under the breath guard? mine definitely needs to be deodorized. I've put warm water through it per manufacturer's instructions but it's still kind of smelly.

Immerse shouldn’t be a problem so I am guessing odor killing stuff that doesn’t harm the helmet. "Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) is an alkaline substance, and when it comes into contact with acidic odors, it reacts to neutralize them. This chemical reaction between the baking soda and the acid neutralizes or produces a less odorous compound. The change in pH helps eliminate the smell."
