The Arai Tour-X5 Solid boasts an ECE 22.06 certification, featuring a Super Fibre Laminate shell, improved ventilation, extended chin bar, and peak for maximum protection on your adventures.
The Tour-X5 utilizes a Variable Axis System A (VAS-A) for optimal Glancing-Off performance, improved visibility, and effortless visor swapping. The redesigned peak minimizes buffeting and wind noise during road riding, offering enhanced adjustability for sun protection and improved ventilation.
In terms of ventilation, the Arai lid now sports the 3D Arai logo duct, complementing the three-position chin vent and center top vent. The interior channels efficiently pull ventilation through the shell, exiting through various rear vents, including side exhausts, neck vent, and rear duct.
Enjoy a more comfortable fit with the helmet's widened shell, providing 10mm additional space for easy on and off. The Emergency Release System (ERS) cheek pads ensure quick removal in case of an accident, while the Facial Contour System (FCS) and double D retention system guarantee a secure and supportive fit.
From what we’ve seen the new rendition is definitely an upgrade from the outgoing Tour X-4. From the construction to the features, every adjustment made has been thoroughly thought out.

Nice one! I've done about 50,000 miles in my X4, persuaded it's time to replace and upgrade for the X5. I've ordered one off your website. It's not cheap, but Klarna makes it a no brainer,.

Not in the U.S. when they do get here, they will likely be called the XD-5, since its predecessor is the XD-4 here.

@@zyonsdreamI ordered from Champion Helmets in the Netherlands and had it to the States in 4 days. Probably one of the first in the US a couple weeks ago.
Adored my XD4. (The previous version of this helmet for the US) First time I was ever happy buying a white helmet. Fit perfect, I didn’t find it that loud (I wear earplugs and have a sena) unfortunately it was stolen last week so I was in the market for another adv helmet. I wanted to buy something temporarily that would work and went with an XP9, which is louder, clearly cheaper and less comfortable. However I like the MIPS. Once my local cycle shop starts stocking the XD5 I plan on trying it to see how it fits in comparison to the 4. End goal will be owning another one. People complaining about the noise or the lack of a drop down visor aren’t the people for an adv helmet such as this, I feel.
Interesting comment on “free pad exchange with Infinity”, that is not my experience at Infinity shop down on the South coast (UK)! I have just ordered a new Tour X5 and was told I’d have to pay for pad change!
