Hello. Your videos are encouraging. im a 36 year old woman (almost 37) with 2 young children who just had a break up with my children's father. i have been very sad and discouraged in regards to God's timing for me to get married because Im getting older and feel my youth is passing me by while the world says its hard for a woman in late 30s with younger children to find a decent man, and yet its easier for men to find a decent woman. I am fasting once a week for God to answer my petition concerning marriage but I get discouraged when it seems the answer is always wait. I dont want God to waste the dew of my youth and still not have a husband. And its most difficult and painful to watch God bless exes or people around me with spouses because I feel overlooked by God no matter how much ive cried out to Him. why them and not me? It makes me feel like God thinks im unworthy of marital bliss and I feel rejected. I haven't been perfect, but I just dont understand why God hasnt given me the right person yet, why the answer is alwaysssss wait. Any encouraging words and prayers for me would be greatly appreciated . thank you so much for your videos

Sister, you have blessed me with your ministry. I am so grateful for what you share. The timing is impeccable too, because this is the first video that popped up on my subscriptions so I clicked on it as something to listen to while driving home from church. And then - I noticed the car in front of me had a license plate cover that said: “No Worries, God has it covered”!!! So incredible. I’m in my mid-30s and have been feeling incredibly discouraged recently, and worse, I have felt many moments of jealousy when I see sisters in Christ on social media, who are 10 years younger than me, married and pregnant already. So I’ve had to bring all that worry and sin to God, and I feel better. More importantly, I feel grateful for His mercy and grace, and I truly understand that my journey belongs to Him, with His purpose. He tests my patience daily, but it is on purpose. My season of singleness has been long, yet I know I will be a better wife and mother for it. All glory to God. Amen

Dear Carla...i feel your pain i am in my mid 40s and the frustration is agonizing. Single ness is just as terrible for men. Its hard not to feel like you are always in the back burner. We cant help feel like we feel we are humans..at this point i am willing to forego having children. I dont wish this in my worst enemy.

God doesn't answer my prayer. I've been waiting & waiting & waiting. Now i'm 40

Omg some of these things are the same as what I said in a video I did. I met and married my husband in just 9 months & we just celebrated our 7 year anniversary 😊

In the past months every time I feel discouraged in this season of waiting I look for Funke's videos. So spirit filled and from the heart with a lot of warmth. I pray soon I can post my testimony when marriage does happen for me. Thank you Funke may God richly bless you...

Having to wait IS a sign that something is wrong, otherwise why don’t you have what you want yet. If there is nothing wrong or if there is nothing to correct, why would He make me wait?

I'm so frustrated after someone who is I love has been refuse me because of my bad behave it's almost one month now it's so hard to thought it but after I watch your video over and over I was finally found my strength again to seek God will in my life , I remember that you have said if God do it for you God will did it for me too , so thanks sis be very blessed.

Thank you so much for this. But I honestly don't see how God can do this for me. He's taken away my parents and brother and I'm a single mom, my kid is a mid teenager now. I'm extremely discouraged. I want my own family and more then anything I want God's will. Funke I'm doing all that I can to get to know God and trust Him. But this is getting to be extremely hard for me. I feel heartbroken. God has done so much for others but He won't for me. I've watched all of your videos. I'm always in my word.. But I just don't understand why I can't have my natural family, and now God is choosing not to give me a family if my own. I keep trying to have joy but I just feel fake cause I know deep down I'm sad, disappointed and discouraged. I kept telling God "I don't understand".. An He said "John 13:7".. An I don't even understand what He means by that. 😭 I'm sorry for being negative but I have to be honest.

What do you mean by He doesn’t do anything for you? The fact that you are STILL alive is enough to show you He cares for you and is working in you even though you cannot see it. Keep your eyes focused on you, not everyone else around you because you will see their grass greener than your which is not always the case. The devil is using comparisons to destroy singles who desire marriage and are in the waiting season! Please focus on yourself and your relationship with God and watch how He will revolutionise your life beyond your understanding. Remain focused dear and leave God to do the rest.

Dear God girl, thank you for watching and for your heartfelt comment. I was really touched by your comment because it reminded me of times when I was single and discouraged. I know it must be hard with setbacks, discouragements and nothing seems to be happening. You may be wondering where God is in your situation… there is a scripture in Jeremiah that says ‘I (God) know the plans I have for you, plans to PROSPER you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future’. I know it’s difficult but don’t go by your current situation go by the fact that God says he has a plan for you (that plan involves not only marriage but every other good thing). It is a good plan and he will do it. He is a faithful God. God is going to do more than you can imagine. On your part you have to keep trusting him and believing that he can and will do it for you. The best way to do that is keep reading and meditating on the bible. Look for scripture/bible promises about marriage and motherhood etc (google them if needed) write them down and go over them every day, confess them to yourself. It may seem a hassle or like nothing is happening at first BUT it will help you grow your faith so that you know it is God’s will for you to get married AND that you will get married because nothing is too hard for God. Hi Florence, thanks for your honest comment. This is not a pity message, it is a message of encouragement for those singles that are feeling that they may never get married or that God doesn't care. I know that it can be difficult to wait on God for something and wonder if it will ever happen. These videos are to let people know that God is faithful and to also help people understand what they need to do to prepare for a Godly marriage. The Bible tells us that God is no respecter of persons, he has no favourites - His grace is for ALL his children not just a select few. Dear Funke, just saw your instagram post about online dating. I dont have instagram, so i will ask you this way...what do you think about women who are not on social media today? I dont have a social account also. Few days ago i met outside two interesting men. But all two times i must go very soon on some other places, so i did not have a chance to exchange contact with each of them (they asked my surname) Now i am thinking, maybe they want to find me online but i dont have account. Do you think if a God wants to meet one of them again, that He will make situation happen, or i must also put myself online and adapt to new era of online meeting. Hi Ana Maria, Yes! God is able to make you meet one of them again if it's his will. Nothing is too hard for God and he can do miracles! You don't have to put yourself online if you don't feel comfortable or that God is leading you to do it. God is able to bring you to the man that he has for you without social media.
