    Please Do Not Discontinue CarPlay!!!! Discontinuing the Bolt didn’t make sense but discontinuing CarPlay effects my desire to move up to an Equinox or Blazer in the next few years. Don’t sabotage your own company by alienating millions of iPhone and Android phone owners. Opening CarPlay in your new car is what makes you feel comfortable.

    Since purchasing my Chevy trailblazer 2021 we have no been able to connect wirelessly with either apple or android phones. Our dealership couldn’t even figure out why it wasn’t working. Super disappointing.

    @@Chevrolet I figured it out like 20 mins ago! My wife's Iphone needed to be connected directly to the trucks wifi in order for it to work. Not sure if that's a software issue or not but my android doesn't need to be connected to the truck like that. Glad we figured it out

    This has never worked on my Bolt. I always have to use a cord. Sometimes it won’t activate at all. Very unreliable and totally wonky feature.

    Hey there. The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette can be equipped with apple car play. If your vehicle has this feature, you will be able to access it by touching the Projection icon to activate it. If available, the projection will appear on the Home Page of the infotainment display. From here, you'll follow these steps listed below. 1. Download the Android Auto app to your phone from the GooglePlay store. No app is required for Apple CarPlay. 2. Connect an Android phone or iPhone by using the compatible phone USB cable and plugging into a USB data port. For best performance it is highly recommended to use the device’s factory-provided USB cable. Aftermarket or third-party cables may not work. 3. When the phone is first connected to activate Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, the message “Device Projection Privacy Consent” will appear. Touch Continue to launch Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Touch Disable to remove Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability from the vehicle Settings menu. Other functions may still work. This information and more can be located in your infotainment manual on page 69 or here: gma-na.gm.com/infocenter//api/resources/resources/sites/GMA/content/live/MANUALS/4000/MA4121/en_US/19_CHEV_Corvette_IM_en_US_U_84149503B_2018APR23_2P.pdf. Even the instructions on my phone in settings aren’t working. I can’t find a straightforward answer if it’s available in this model or not.

    Let me tell you something is going on in your 2022 Silverado not connecting anymore. We have been troubleshooting to no end even to the point of getting a new phone. My husbands phone first connects to wireless CarPlay then suddenly CarPlay stops displaying. Still connects to phone but will not display CarPlay info. Disconnected and reconnected a million times doesn’t work. My phone has no issues. We even got him a new phone. Still. Does the same thing. The dealership was due to work on it yesterday but failed us as the tech called out of work. I’m not dumb with technology. That is my profession. So I know all basic troubleshooting steps. I’m dumbfounded with this though.

    @@Chevrolet same on my 2022 Tahoe RST. Car Play worked great for 3 weeks now I cannot connect. Tried all the suggestions resetting, canceling and reloading my Iphone multiple times. It connects via bluetooth but will not activate car play. Beyond frustrated!

    My 2020 Blazer premier will pair and I can do phone calls,but when it plays my music I get some of my songs and a whole lot of random ones they chose? Also I cannot ever connect to any Wi-Fi nor does it allow me to use any USB always says cannot connect and wants passwords of all sorts, I gave up its very disappointing for a 40,000 vehicle and Chevy yet! Come on……

    Wireless CarPlay does not work for my 2019 Cruze and it’s takes about 3 mins for the USB to actually connect to CarPlay which has always been an inconvenience

    Why do I have to use carplay to play music?? This is GARBAGE!!!! It requires the Wi-Fi to be connected as well. This is just absolute garbage all the way around. I’ve driven many other cars and none of this is required just to play Bluetooth music. What a joke Chevy!!!!! Oh, you’re in a bad service area but you have a hotspot with a different carrier that has perfect signal. Yeah too bad can’t join unless you want to disconnect playing music or doing anything like that. What idiot designed this??? 🤡

    @@ChevroletI get that and it’s appreciated! There’s just no point whatsoever unless you’re going to push an update that magically fixes your design engineer’s major shortcomings! This system gives the vibes that the engineer designed it for himself and nobody else! There’s no other reason for all these stupid things that are in place and are not required in every other automobile that I’ve driven. Even 2024 Lexus’s don’t require CarPlay to simply play music! What idiot wants everything to be on the dash and highly unusable / non user friendly??? And best of all there’s NO OPTION TO DISABLE THIS GARBAGE!! Disable it and you flat out can’t listen to Bluetooth music regardless of the fact it’s connected and says it’s playing! Sounds really cool huh???? BUYER BEWARE!!!! THIS AV SYSTEM IS HANDS DOWN THE WORST ON THE MARKET! You thought CUE system was bad??? Wait until you see this 🤡 I would rather have a dollar store radio than this pile of junk!! How could anyone even think this is ok for release to the public?? Way to make sure GM continues to be the WORST infotainment platform on the market! Big high five guys ✋
