Why is patting important

Best to avoid the neck area as the skin is much more sensitive, increase the time gradually working the way up to 10mins and rinse with cold water - it's more soothing and doesn't extra exfoliate your skin like using a cloth does.

Hello again :) Yes, it's actually a strong peel, but if you're new to such intense masks, just start with a small amount. Leave it on for only a few minutes at first, then gradually increase both the amount and the time left on the skin until you reach the full 10 minutes. :) This way, you make sure not to overdo it and can figure out if it's working well for your skin.

I'm not entirely sure how well this will work for your skin concerns, as I don't typically experience such spots after acne. They usually don't stay for months. You can certainly give it a try, but you might have better results with Alpha Arbutin and/or Azelaic Acid.

I have dry and sensitive skin. Can I use it? Will it damage the skin barrier? And does it actually peels off the skin?

If you have sensitive skin, you may not be able to tolerate it, depending on your individual sensitivities. This means you might react to certain ingredients, which may or may not be present in the formulation. However, unless you know these ingredients, you won't be able to determine if they will affect you. Also, it does not peel off the skin.

Could I use this product with the three step acne treatment La Roche Posay? Or would it be too much for the skin?

That's going to be too much. I mean, you could use the blue Effaclar Cleanser before applying the Peeling Solution. However, make sure to follow it with something hydrating after the mask, and avoid using other treatment or drying products.

I prefer Cetaphil.

Do not use 2-3 dropper fulls. That's too much. Not only are you wasting product, but it will be very uncomfortable. You only need 4 to 6 drops. Tap it onto you skin in a thin layer. Only leave on for the full 10 minutes if its comfortable for you. If it stings or burns, only leave it on for 2 to 3 minutes and rinse. You can slowly increase by about a minute over the next few weeks until you're comfortable enough to leave it for the full 10 minutes. Burning your face off is not the goal.

Sorry, but no, this is incorrect: unlike a serum that you leave on the skin, 4-6 drops of this product will not be effective. Using approximately a teaspoon of an exfoliating acid mask, which is about 2-3 droppers full of product, ensures effective and even coverage for optimal exfoliation. Using less may lead to insufficient or uneven results. If you have sensitive skin, you might consider using a bit less. However, those with sensitive skin often do not tolerate glycolic acid well, so even small amounts might be intolerable.

I would give it an extra day in between to avoid overly sensitizing the skin. And yes, you can use CeraVe PM lotion if that suits your skin type.

As mentioned in the short, use a non-exfoliating acid cleanser when using the mask, and just follow it with your HA serum afterwards. You can use your SA cleanser and Niacinamide serum when not using the mask.

No! Just skip that night. And the next night continue what you normally do. The night you use this you just want to wash this off and put moisturizer on. Stay away from actives other then hyaluronic acid.

Ive never used a peel before and tonight when I tried using it there was a very noticeable tingling sensation. It didnt burn, but it was noticeable enough to be unpleasant. I rinsed it right away but my skin is still a little red (no irritation, just the way it would be if i rubbed a little too hard with a scrub). I also applied heavy moisturizer. Is this normal and i just have to build a tolerance to the sensation or is maybe my skin too sensitive for this product?

A strong tingling sensation can be normal and may last for a minute or so; this has been my experience, which also aligns with feedback from friends and comments I regularly receive. So, as long as it isn't burning or causing lasting irritation afterward, it should be fine. Additionally, the choice of moisturizer should be adjusted according to your skin type. I am against using it under the arms because, firstly, it is very potent and, secondly, it can be easily absorbed in these areas, potentially entering the bloodstream. While the AHAs and BHAs themselves may not be an issue, the added preservatives and other ingredients can be, especially when used too often or for very long periods. For knees and elbows, it should not be an issue as the skin is very thick, but not overdoing it is really key.

The Ordinary Peeling Solution can help fade Post-Inflammatory Erythema (PIE), but the results can vary from person to person, and it also depends on the severity of the discoloration. However, I wouldn't recommend using it if you have sensitive skin. Generally, PIE can take weeks to months to fade, which may take longer for severe cases. With proper treatment and consistent use of targeted skincare products, it is possible to speed up the fading process. Still, the skin does some of the healing as well, so make sure to not irritate when using treatments for PIE.

Is there any problem washing with cold water?

If that's the case, no, let your skin heal. Just cleanse your face in the AM and PM, and maybe use a hydrating toner, serum, or moisturizer afterwards - that's it.

Hey! :) You do not experience visible peeling when using this mask. This is more common with much stronger masks or other skin-peeling treatments, which you won't get over the counter, as this would be too dangerous for people to do at home.

Well, the Peeling Solution contains 2% BHA (Salicylic Acid), so in that sense, it's the same. However, the Peeling Solution also contains 30% AHA (mainly Glycolic and Lactic Acid), and that's what makes the difference. If you want to use both products, use the Peeling Solution when not using PC BHA, 1-2 times per week - or even less often.

Am using this once a week every morning and I just top it off with Round Lab brich Juice sunscreen. But I've heard that am not supposed to apply vit C ingredient after using this product but later I just came to know that Round Lab sunscreen contains VIt c ingredient. No, I would not recommend doing that. This is a very strong peel, and you don't want to irritate or dry out your skin before applying the peel.

As its name show its peal off so don't we peal it off like we do with charcoal facemask not even bring water near it? and why you rub it off with cloth/towel before risen it, is it necessary? Isn't it we wash it off with water only? and one more thing can we still use it on acna skin and likesome have just scars / acne marks on the face? like mine I don't have actually acnes on my face but after they left they leave the permanent mark and uneven skin, does it clear them gradually anways?

Unlike a charcoal facemask or other peel-off masks, you do NOT physically peel this solution off the skin. The term "peeling" here refers to its ability to induce exfoliation at a chemical level, helping to "peel away" dead skin cells. After applying for up to 10 minutes, rinse with lukewarm water. While using a cloth isn't necessary, it works well for me, so I often showcase it. However, you can simply rinse it off with water. Ensure that everything is thoroughly removed, ideally in the shower. The solution contains AHAs for surface exfoliation and BHA for deeper pore action. However, it should be avoided on active or inflamed acne due to its strength.

No. And you should use the peel a maximum of twice a week. And technically, you can use the Azelaic Acid on the days when you're not using the peel. However, this depends a lot on your personal skin tolerance. But do not use them one after the other or on the same day, as this could lead to irritation over time.

Generally, there should be no issue using it on other days, as the Azelaic Acid Suspension is gentle, but it depends on your personal skin tolerance, so test it. :) However, what may be beneficial to use along with it would be The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + Beta Glucan or +HA. You could use these before applying the Azelaic Acid to provide hydration and a better slip for the suspension. Apart from that, there is no need for anything else. If the products target your specific skin concerns, then that's it. :)

Well, what kind of acne scars do you have? Are they dark spots? If so, they will fade on their own over time, as it mostly depends on genetics. I would not recommend using Salicylic Acid on the same day as the mask. Firstly, the mask already contains Salicylic Acid as BHA stands for Beta Hydroxy Acid and this is Salicylic Acid in skincare.
