The Coloured Special Function Buttons On LG TV Remotes are Red, Green, Yellow and Blue. These buttons are used to access special functions in some menus. On some remote controls the colours are accompanied by dots. The Red button has one dot, the Green button has two, Yellow has 3 and finally Green has 4 dots. These are for colour blind people because they cant tell apart red and green.
The special function buttons are mainly used on Digital TVs because smart TV's have an intuitive magic remote control.

@@DominicGichane Hi Dominic! I had to buy a remote from another Sony TV to replace my cheap Sony remote which buttons stopped working. When I push the "Favorites" button a screen comes up with lines and no favorites. Can you tell me how favorite channels are saved? I tried methods other remotes used, but nothing has worked. Thanks!

When I hit input or settings I don't have any options on my menu for these buttons and hitting them still does nothing. They still seem to do nothing on my TV. I have a 2022 LG OLED Evo.

The LG buttons are 2 eyes of the sound bar aka stainless steel eyes which the advark sees through

Fun fact: They put them in a different order around the world. US remotes go blue, yellow, green, red. Animals!

@@cameronjohnson7711 Not sure why I thought it was the US. I can see they're the same as Europe (and probably most of the world). It's Indian remotes that have the R and G swapped (not sure why or how I saw that), but Japanese that have them in a completely different order -.B R G Y (well, the B shifted to the front anyway).
All LG TV remotes are fucking stupid, and way too large. I hate mine!

I also have problems with accents, so I slow the video speed down until it's easier to follow. Great video tho, VERY helpful.
