Trust me you’ll pick things up faster than you think. The hardest part is making the jump into wearing a hair system, which you’ve already done! 👍 Every time it comes to rebonding you’ll notice you get a bit better. Hopefully you find my tutorials playlist helpful 🙌

Awesome tip. all lace base pieces are a pain with tape sticking, That's why i stayed away from full lace pieces. but my new one is a full lace unit and am having the same issue. So i use knot sealer on the base. its a spray it helps but now i will add the extra tape in the center. like you shown, I remove daily so this is good!!👍

I just discovered your video I find it interesting I just have a problem with lace and tape, may be you could tell me how to solve. I explain I wear a white wig and white lace. After a few days, I noticed tape becomes black due to pollution With white lace and white hair it it is visible ! Not cool Thanks for your video Eric from France

So therapeutic watching you do this. It's like watching a car being crushed. I don't agree with the lines down the middle. I just full tape around the perimeter and I do a lot of exercises and stuff and it holds for a week no problem and is then tough to get off so I know it sticks well. I tried taping a line across like you did at the end and it just made sweating uncomfortable, like having a poly again.

Thanks for this video! Can you kindly share with us what you know about any toxic ingredients (such as toluene) of tape by whether Walker or Supertape? Any health concern?

  • @HairSystemDIY

Toluene is flammable so you do have to be mindful of that. I’ve also read in places that if it gets into your body it can affect mitochondrial function

@@HairSystemDIY How do you feel about toluene or other ingredients on your skin? Does it worry you? Jake Kent might had been trying to get more definitive reply from Walker. Walker did reply a customer post about toluene, but the reply wasn’t too affirmative. If toluene is quickly evaporated after the tape is made, would it still enter the body when used on skin? Upon knowing that the tapes are not regulated/researched like food, this may be an important topic of interest to many users 💁🏻‍♂️

Hi, I followed your previous video on using tape. I've had my system on just over a week now and have noticed that I have a black line round the sides of my head where I used the tape. Any tips would be amazing 🙉 👍🙂

I've got a poly base system. Is it a problem pinning a poly system to a mannequin head? I heard it damages the poly.

Hi! Several points. No-one would know it's a system. It looks perfect. Although I'm not 'ashamed' of wearing a system, I would never 'admit it' online. Close friends know but I wouldn't want everyonebto know because I imagine there'll be some idiot who just constantly makes fun and tries to embarrass you. I apply 100% isopropylalcohol to the scissors before each cut. It stops the tape from sticking to the scissors and cutsbmore easily. It totally evaporates in a few seconds. Before applying to my scalp, I rub iso onto my scalp so I can get it in the exact place before it sticks. Once the iso has evaporated, I press well down and, call me weird but I then do a headstand on a fluffy pillow to press it well down... Then style.
