You are adorable, thank you for such an informative clear direction
Thank you so much for sharing
Super helpful. What’s the recommendation size for the 42 ounce bar so there isn’t overflow or too much extra. Or just put 42 in the size and it should be good?
Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu....this really helped give me a basic understanding of how to start. How do you decide which butters/oils to use? Is it just a preference? Iknow I want to use multiple hard butters, just need to figure out where to start with those.
Great Video but can you please explain how to know the weight of oils? what number goes in the box, the total weight of the mould ( volume) or the % of Oils out of the total volume? I cant find any videos on how to know what # to put in that box Your help would be much appreciated :) Thank you
Hello what happens if it does not equal 100 when putting in numbers
You made it so much easier for me to understand thank you! My only concern is that the unsat ratio is 51:49 what should I do?

just adjust the oils in your recipe.
is canola 2.40 oz the same in weight as 68.40 in gram
Mine didn't calculate to a hundred I don't know why
I think, in my opinion and programming experience, that there are better ways to put advertisements in a non distracting manner. Those flashy advertisements are very distracting when I am trying to design my soap. That is my only gripe about soap calc. The only time I use it is if I have a rare oil that is not typically found on the one I mainly use which has no advertisements or anything that slows down my computer. Soap calc- at least make your ads non flashy please.
I have a question. The soap weight before CP cure is way higher than what the mold can hold. What do we do with the extra? Is there no way to calculate exactly our mold size and get the correct number to pour?

Yes there is you'd have to input your batch weight as the size of your mold. Ex: If your mold is 30 ounces then calculate recipe oil weight as such. Still enter your oils in the same percentages, the system will calculate how much of each oil, water and lye you'll need based on said weight. On the other hand if your weight is higher than your mold can hold you can either pour into a second mold or pour the extra into smaller molds for samples.

YorelNaturals so the calculation formula is just for the oils and not the entire capacity of my mold right? So if I calculate that my mold needs 1 lb of soap, if means my mold can hold that much oil PLUS the water and lye?

YorelNaturals phew thank you. I was going crazy trying to understand if I had to only enter 70% of my calculated total or the whole number lol.

Remember: Your oil weight is the weight before your soap cures. When you calculate your oils your calculation is saying when I add the water and lye to these oils it will be enough to fill my mold. So, your goal is to figure out how much liquid your mold holds. Ex: If you have a 16 oz. mold calculate 16 oz. of oils. The calculator will tell you how much lye and water to add. When mixed together you will be pouring volume, not weight. Are you in my FB soap group? If not, here's the link facebook.com/groups/soapmakingworldwide
Your voice is not clear. Very low volume
