Let me tell y'all something !!! I put a bag of rice In a gallon container, filled with water and I store it in my closet. I started using the rice water after 24 hours and I'm letting it sit until it's gone. I use it twice a day. In 3 weeks my hair is thicker, and almost an inch longer! No cooking, no fragrance, just rice, water, container. It gets stinky but it's worth it! I spray it on my face before bed and I'm glowing, no more dry spots or blemishes! Keep it simple ladies and use it on your face! I swear it made me even prettier 🥰

y’all - do it! I committed to 3 weeks of rice watering + using aloe oil. I spray my hair and scalp morning + night everyday, once a week on wash days I do a rice water leave in and rinse, deep condition - and lemme tell you - my snatched out patches are already grown back in! Working on my crown as that’s thinning but now i can visibly see the hairs growing back in and thicker - my natural wave pattern is blossoming again and my hair just thicker and softer and overall healthier! It’s a comittment but so worth it and I’m excited to see my growth in 2 months time! Thank you Mercy!

@@nellysw0rld sorry I should have clarified- so I wash my hair in the shower and my last rinse is with rice water and not shower water - I then place a cap on my hair and let it sit for 15 or so while I shower - rinse it out and then continue with my routine. I then spray my hair with rice water when I get out of the shower and pat dry / air dry my hair - it’s insane how much my hair has grown since even posting this comment !

@@visunvjwiiiiivunjkjs I did both. I used it as a wash out conditioner...I also braided my hair down and sprayed it on a few times. But warning ...it stinks!!! Use some essential oil if you can. Mix it in the spray bottle.

Yes it works on relaxed hair too It depends on how you keep your hair if you tend to leave your relaxed hair out then maybe once a week or every two weeks remember that It stinks so you’ll probably need to wash your hair after so that can be a guide for how often you use it

@@anniemaegrammy2965 I would definitely try it! Just use a moisturizer after your wash…something creamy. I only use greases and oils for my scalp. But yes, rice water Will literally grow your hair overnight somehow. Come back to the comments and let us know how it goes. Good luck love ❤️

Where do I lpurchase the hair dryer that dries the hair through a tube. Looks expensive. However it works FAST!!!

How often should u use the rice water and do you only use it when washing your hair?

I rinsed a cup of sticky rice then put in a glass container and filled up the container with 750ml. I opened after a day and a half and there was no stinky smell to the rice water. I’m not sure if it’s the type of rice used or the amount of time it sits. I mean this lady let her’s sit for a week, mine sat for 1 day and a half. I still have some of the rice water so I’ll see as it sits longer if there be a stinky smell. I however don’t think the Asians let their rice water sit a week before use cause they use rice water more frequently.

Yea because low porosity hair is rich in protein and so is rice/rice water. I’m going to research though because I want to incorporate it into my routine.

Hair grows from its roots not its hair shaft lol. A bit of science here on the nature of hair. What you put on your hair shields it from outside influences like the sun , dryness, breakage but NOT GROWTH. Growth depends on WHAT you put into your body. Nutrients into the blood stream, vitamins etc plus genetics if course. There are ways to stimulate your hair from the scalp but specfic oils, messaging. Helps me u. Areas where I always had peoblems!! Wish I knew it before hand.
