It is great for all hair types. The rice water is for your scalp (for the most part). Its a scalp treatment so the porosity of your hair doesn’t matter :)

When I lived in a poor small village in Laos, no one used shampoo. All the ladies used rice water that’s has been fermented. I can tell you the older ladies have head full of hairs. They don’t gray easily either Some people add Thai lime juice and or juice from the leaves of sesame seeds.

A Chinese Visa is one of the most difficult visas to get approved for, especially now. But go to your closest Chinese Embassy and they will inform you of everything you need to do. Its a very difficult process but I think it's worth it!
