HOW to USE PLANER BOARDS - TROLLING for Walleye with KastKing Fishing Rods and KastKing Reels

Спорт

Here National Walleye Tour Champion Dylan Nussbaum shows you how to use planer boards for trolling. He’s using KastKing Walleye fishing rods and the new KastKing Rekon line counter trolling reel with Rapala lures.
The fishing gear he is using is the new KastKing Rekon line counter reel that will be available September 2019. It will be available in 10 and 20 sizes. This KastKing how to fishing video was filmed on Lake Erie. Although Dylan is a walleye fishing tournament pro he also goes bass fishing and trout fishing. He uses KastKing fishing rods and KastKing fishing reels exclusively.
Planner board fishing can be highly effective when trolling for walleye. For more information about the terminal tackle used in this video please watch the KastKing video titled, GET DOWN! Great video! Getting in the planer game myself, what action rods do you use? And what rod action (strength) do you recommend for dipsies? Your response is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for explaining. What keeps the lure from staying on top of the water? Does the planer board make the lure go down under water?

Good video. But using 3 planer boards on one side of the boat, what happens when you catch a fish on the the farthest boat. Won't you get tangled up with the other 2 lines? And what kind of video camera are you using? Thanks.

Awesome first question.. I’m assuming there has to be some kind of trick, besides bringing the other lines in before your farthest one. I’m sure that the gents to do the charter boats have to have some kind of secret for doing so.

I was taught to keep the rod tip up. Less chance of losing them at the boat?

I would love to see some extra heavy gear made for sharks, as the shark fishing community NEEDS to spend a lot of money on $500+ setups (unless you are me and mc giver”d a $90 one with a $20 pole) also it would be cool to see how far affordable innovation could be taken. I know you guys are going for small game (except the kastking kat Rods and the rover) but maybe challenge yourselves to try something new and you may have a new market, love you guys, and I always try and recommend people to use your stuff, to get others introduced, save money, and buy quality items, good luck people
