Good vid. it's been several years now but I haven't used my CP on Sanded Paper with the exception of one time and I didn't use much of my CP's in it. I was like "Yikes" as I soon found out how quickly the sanded paper chewed down my CP's and especially with Lum's. I thought Lum's cost too much to be using on sanded paper. If I ever try it again it certainly will be with poly's. Now with all that being said I think this video demonstration of yours really showcases what amazing art can be achieved by using your techniques and your explanations are very easy to understand. You truly do have the talent. I was just thinking how much over the years I have benefited from your tutorials as well as your one on ones. What would I ever do without you? Hope I never have to find out.

Awe thanks so much Steve. I am so glad to be a part of your art journey and learning. I love helping others reach their goals. You are right UArt does take down the pencils quickly and because of that I find oms to be a valuable addition on this paper. As you know I don’t use it often. Not even on pastelmat, but I find to get the best results this is the method that works best for me on sanded paper such as this. And no I doubt you’ll have to find out. I am working on other things but still pop in now and again to keep up with everyone and help where I can and do a bit of art here and there. Might be starting a new KZread channel later in the year. We will have to see how it goes after May and where that venture leads. Either way you can get rid of me that easy. Lol 😂

@@Artista365 Hey girl perhaps in the near future there is a video demonstration I think many would like to see and benefit from and that's drawing someone wearing glasses. it doesn't matter if it's CP, graphite would serve just as well. I find glasses are incredibly hard to do and I see many that draw them well. When I try drawing them I get like Curly on the 3 Stooges when he gets frustrated and i start barking at the paper.

It’s a taklon. Sometimes I use square others I use round but always a taklon not too firm tho and definitely not super soft. Find which firmness works best for your techniques. No right or wrong. Since everyone works in different ways, it’s always best to try different things to see which works best for you and your techniques.
