In this video I will be showing you the best hand held crown stapler for upholstery and how to use it. Heavy duty staple guns come in all shapes and kinds. They can be manual (like the one I am showing in this video review), electric, or pneumatic.
The manual staple gun is the most affordable of them all, and it doesn’t require any additional power supply, other than your wrist and forearm. Despite its cheap price tag, however, it can do the same job as the more sophisticated ones. It works with three different kinds of staples - T-shaped staples, U-shaped staples, and the most common ones, the D-shaped staples.
The T-shaped staples are mainly used as nails, usually attaching thin wood or plywood, or maybe some picture frames. U-shaped staples are mainly used for fencing jobs, like stretching a chicken wire, or as a cable tacker - holding insulated cables in place. D-shaped staples are used for furniture upholstery, like renovating your sofa, or for attaching your carpet to the floor, or the stairs. Basically, attaching any fabric to a hard surface, like wood, or even concrete.
The crown stapler gun I am using in this video tutorial is of a high quality. It’s entirely made of metal, with some nice and soft rubber on the trigger. It can shoot 4 different types of staples:
- Narrow crown (Arrow T50 / Rapid 140) 4-14mm
- Round staple (Arrow T18 / Rapid 28) 10-12mm
- Nail (Arrow T50 BN / Esco 300) 10-14mm
- Brad Nail (Arrow T50 BN / Esco 300) 10-14mm
You can adjust the depth of penetration by screwing in or out the bolt on the top. You can also remove jammed staples by removing the bottom part of the crown staple gun.

this video gave an idea 💡 i brought some LED light that need to be mounted to the ceiling but i rent. A manual staple gun will get the job done and it easy to use. This video was very helpful.
