    Um...... if he removes the dog and wraps up the aquarium during the treatment process then it's safe..... that's what u are suppose to do. 9 times out of 10 "fleas" come from the dog..... so yeah no one would get fleas otherwise unless they were just gross people which I do not think this person is......

    @@jamescourt2341 Courtney, I think you may have misunderstood my intent. I was saying that this video was really good because it showed how to handle the dog and the aquarium. In other words, *because* he had an aquarium and a dog, we all got to learn more about what to do - because the OP handled all those special cases properly.

I went thru like 30 of all the other colors before I finally called company and they said get purple. Why they make the the others when purple is only only one that kills everything is besides me. Feed them a little food grade coconut oil. Its cheaper than the poison you're putting on your dogs and its good for their skin and fur. If you continue this for over at least 2 weeks (but theres no reason to stop feeding it to them, 1 tea spoon a day for each dog of that size, then all the flees will naturally die as they can't live without a host.... I just saved you alot of time and money. Youre welcome.

    Make sure you buy glue boards and place them around the floor and on the countertops and other infested places BEFORE setting off the foggers other wise they will run, find a new place to hide and live and repopulation all over again. Glue boards are VERY cheap. My favorite to use is by TomCat. Also make sure you NEVER use poison spray of any kind. All id does is make them spread and repopulate. Instead continue using glueboards. They are cheap, very effect, are safe around pets and kids (provided you use some common sense) and the best part they work 24/7 even after you turn off your kitchen light and go to bed. Hope this helps someone. ;)

My cats never goes out but recently they had alot of fleas, though I used drops for the cats but no chance..Probably got infested from the neigbour where she has a dog training office.. Probably there are thousands of fleas still inside my warehouse.. Yesterday I purchased 8 Hot Shot 6 for 3000sf warehouse. I will probably used them Tomorrow. Fleas are the most annoying creature in the world. Which is also good glue trap with electric lamp that I purchased from Home Depot which cought over 300 fleas in a night.. I just hpe that I resolve it.. So, Toimaticious Erth, salt, soda, etc. dont work. Also, water with dish soap will work but not extetminate all. Good luck.

    Hi Jay. I have a few questions. I'm preparing the back side of my house to treat the flea problem I have. I noticed you used the Hot Shot no mess fogger. Do I need to turn off my A/C while treating the rooms? Also, I'm treating 1 large closet that's the size of a small bedroom and also 3 more bedrooms. My bathrooms also show signs of fleas. Will the fogger reach the bathrooms as well? Im afraid to put a fogger in the bathrooms because they are small. Also would you keep the rooms closed up where the foggers are or would you keep them open so it can reach the hallway and bathrooms? Sorry for all the questions, but I keep getting different information when researching the products. Thank you, Zaynah

    You probably should turn off the AC because you will be opening the windows after the recommended time when you return home. You should keep all room doors open for the fumes to spread. It's very important that you treat the pets with flea medication ASAP because they are the hosts for the fleas to feed off of. Don't forget to wash your clothes afterwards or keep them all bagged.

I left my husbands caps out, and toilet paper. lol We have a baby and I'm just nervous what to wipe down! Also, we used it but couldn't open the windows. It's probably a good idea to wash the clothes that are out but if it's inside the drawer than they should be fine. Just because our human noses can't detect the chemicals doesn't mean it's not there and since you have a baby it's best to air the house out after the intended lot of time that the directions suggest. Just curious if this kills the bedbugs on the mattress as well as everywhere in the bedroom and if so how is it effective on the bedbugs on the mattress ? I do have a question if I may ask. Before I ask the question this is what I'm doing. I'm putting my house up for sale and won't be living here while it's for sale. My house will be empty except for the washer, dryer, stove, and fridge. I do plan on using a bug bomb to fumigate and eliminate any spiders or other small bugs during the time my house is for sale. The question is, after fumigation will the entire house have to be cleaned and will there be any noticeable aftermath of a bug bomb was used such as a smell or residue?

  • @Jay_Rule

    @Jay_Rule

    7 жыл бұрын

    I'm not an expert but I'll give you my honest opinion. The box does state it's a no mess fogger but keep in mind there will be dead bugs lying around so I highly doubt anybody taking a look at the house will want to see that. I think I simple vacuum will do and there is no lingering smell that I noticed. Good luck!

    I like these foggers, however as a veterinary professional I have to say that for a flea infestation you MUST treat the animal first, otherwise new fleas will appear. That means you administer a monthly flea preventative to your animal, year around regardless of your local climate. Flea dips and flea shampoos only kill the fleas that are on the animal at that time. They do not offer any long term protection from fleas, and in fact as soon as the animal is dry, new fleas can begin feeding. As long as fleas have a food source, they will continue to breed. When you administer a monthly preventative, you are eliminating their food source and they will go away. Fleas will not stick around to feed on humans, they require animal blood (cat / dog) to reproduce. Good luck.

I understand that and have experience when there is a dog/cat present to help treat the issue as the fleas bite the treated animal they will die off much faster than just bug spray alone, but my issue is fleas after we removed the cats from the home. That being said, I'm looking to find out if you were flea free for a few days after this first treatment, then maybe noticed new small that hatched within the 2 week period, then re-treated the house with bug bombs again to kill all the new hatchlings? I guess I'm wondering how effective these bombers are with fleas?

    The larvae are protected by their barrier so you may have to use a more direct method such as vinegar spray. I have a whole playlist on how to treat fleas and insects: kzread.info/head/PL8zebRtnCcumsWPXeeYaTuyoHJifAZQrh
