If you use the green hotshot it is flammable and a spark could ignite the fumes. Better to be safe and unplug stuff.

As a pest control technician, these work for all bugs EXCEPT roaches, if you have roaches they will go into hiding in the smallest cracks and breed until they can't physically live there anymore. 2 go in, hundreds come out a month later

@China The Writer get some hot shot gel bait put gel bait in every crack and crevice.. under sinks hold on walls. Behind outlet and light switch covers . Get the safety inserts for the outlets. Also caulking cracks and crevices helps . If your gonna spray inside make sure kids and pets are out of the house for 4 hrs to allow to dry. Don't use bombs if you just used the gel bait. Allow the gel bait and residual spray work dealing with roaches takes time and patience. Vacuum up swarms of roaches. Get boric acid powder . Place behind and underneath appliances . Don't use glue traps allow gel bait to work. Roaches eat there own poop. They are also cannibalistic that's how the gel bait works the roach poops the gel bait then dies from the gel bait other roaches come along and eat the stomach from the roach that was poisoned and other roaches will eat the poop. Then die off. This will drastically knock down the population of roaches . Vacuum as much as possible Vacuum all cracks and crevices. Under sinks all over literally. Add more gel bait . Repeat gel baiting every week . Spray the baseboards around vents spray exterior around doors windows eves and foundation. Patch any holes in exterior foundation / wall / roof / windows / screens / garage.

If done properly they work. Residual spray treatment has to be applied first with IGR / insect growth regulator. that stops them from reproducing and the residual kills them, if there are any roaches left it will cause them not to reproduce. Gel baits work only after the bomb treatments. Have settled because the bombs act as a repellant. Maybe a week after I've sprayed and bombed the house I would start using gel baits in cracks crevices and behind outlet and light switch wall covers

@@jerryoshea3116 I install them, that is inaccurate. There has to be a chemical reaction to cause a combustion and ignition, in order for a detector to go off. They may have told you to cover them just too help protect sensors. But there is no way a bug fogger is setting off a smoke detector. In a very rare instance with a low end and battery dying fire detector, I'm sure a freak accident could happen, but not typically. Smoke interrupts ions is how smoke detectors work, most aerosol products don't have that ability, but are generally flammable themselves.

You can easily kill them with apple cider...you take a plastic cup put apple cider vinegar then add a dab or 2 of dishwasher liquid cover with saran plastic wrap. Take a toothpick poke holes in plastic leave it on the counter they will all go and drown. Keep fruits in containers or refrigerated to avoid seeing them again.

in some heavy infested areas or places where fumigation isnt constant (or never made before), the eggs lay a couple days later, sometimes a second session would be great. nex time you won't find 3 live ones but 2 or 1... and maybe in a third one you won't find any (and will stat to be a rare ocassion to see one alive.. but continue the use, specially on hot months where this things like to reproduce, I just hate them)
