HOW TO USE HOT ROLLERS: Conair Hot Rollers Tutorial for bouncy curls

The easiest way to get big, voluminous curls, with less effort and heat! I have been loving hot rollers lately and I feel like I finally mastered a good way to use hot rollers! In this video, I'm sharing how to use hot rollers.
So far, I've tried the Revlon Blow Dryer Brush, velcro rollers, a regular round brush blow out and recently the Dyson Airwrap Set. The hot rollers are a great, budget friendly option to achieve similar results to the Dyson Airwrap!
I have long, thick, wavy and frizzy hair so it is a bit of a struggle for me to get my hair to this state! Including blow-dry time, this takes me about 30-40 minutes which is quick from wet to dry hair (for me).
I am using the Conair Hot Rollers (without heated clips), but I HIGHLY recommend buying hot rollers WITH heated clips. They will hold your curls a lot better.
Here are some hot rollers that I would recommend to purchase:
REMINGTON Pro Hair Setters (with heated clips)- my friend has this and they're amazing. These are my next purchase!
surl.li/bsuot
CONAIR Xtreme Instant Heat Multi-Size Hot Rollers- more expensive on here, but I heard they work great too!
surl.li/bsuou
PRODUCTS USED:
Olaplex Bonding Oil
TreSemme Spray Heat Protectant
John Frieda Frizz Ease Hair Spray
Conair Xtreme Instant Heat Jumbo & Super Jumbo Hot Rollers
I hope you guys enjoy watching this hot rollers tutorial and learn how to use hot rollers! :)

If she's 7 she will have a smaller head and she would benefit greatly from a travel sized set of hot rollers to start with. Sets made by Conair and Remington would probably be perfect for her and give her great curls. These hot rollers are better for really loose waves. ❤

I'm 59 and hadn't used hotrollers since 1983, but I ordered a new set from Amazon with my Mother's Day gift card. Watched your video while I rolled them in. I don't remember using hairspray, but great tip! One nice change is the heated clips. I lost chunks of scalp from those old wire clips. Apparently, I did a good job! My stepson just told me he likes my bouncy hair better than my usual hair claw in hurry look😂

Hahah I love it! I would love a set with heated clips, I think that would be a lot better but this still works :) it definitely looks more elevated than a typical blow dry!!

Thank you very much. I have thick curly 3B hair, so I know exactly what pain it is to change our natural pattern... I would do the whole process certainly longer. But I am very pleased that you showed that not only T3 hot rollers work... those are very expensive. I might try these. I long for bouncy fluffy big waves. Not that I am not happy with my spirals, it is just nice to have some change from time to time.

  • @NavigatorMother

    @NavigatorMother

I bought hair ties once. I rolled up the hair in the hot roller as tight as I could, then put the elasticated hair tie around the centre line of the roller. It's not a great grip. But when you're desperate and you've got bobby pins to tighten the whole affair closer to the scalp, it will do. I only wish I could draw what I mean for you. It's more effective if your hair isn't too short. Good luck, hey.

What was the deal with her spill about wearing her hair "natural" several times a week?! As a white girl with stick straight "natural" hair I do not make excuses when I curl my hair so what was her point on wearing her hair natural. Kinda sounds like she thinks straight hair is a negative ....why I wonder?!!!

Using heat on your hair is not good LOL.. it's best for your hair to embrace your natural hair and not fry it all the time with heat. Of course it's a negative to use heat on your hair multiple times a week
