What's the difference between pause and volume up?

About the volume function : it is off in the initial setup, if you want to have it, you have to activate it in the Sony Headphones Connect app.

For Volume up you are saying single tap to the Right, but that is the same for Start/ Pause. I have the ear buds and it seems there is no Volume Up/Down function. Am I correct?

Hi, I use is for sleep (noisy environment) but the battery life notification at 6,5 hours interrupts my sleep. Any solutions?

Giving us the option to start the buds with our most used mode would be great (start with noise canceling off)

Yes... that's so annoying that it forces one mode to be the ambient control forcing me to lose volume control because the other modes needs to have playback functionality. I wish they would make each mode have programmable volume control and remember the preferred ambient mode.

How can single tap be both track advance and volume up at the same time?!?!?

Is it possible to use the earphones without the sony app. I downloaded the app once, but I wasn't able to find them on the list. And I wouldn't mind seeing how they sound. They were a gift, and I've never used them.

Is there a way to mute the microphone?

There are some setting on headphone connect app, but it will replace the function. For ex If you want to set tap function to adjust volume, it will replace the playback function.

Gestures take some time getting use to, but hey, this is a good product.

Just bought these and I. Can't. Stand. These. Headphones. Coming off Apple, where everything is so user friendly, with easy 'how tos' online etc...this vid was all I could find!? In the box was just pages and pages of tiny instructions with zero pics. Aint nobody got the time for that? Just went for my first run with them, I kept going to turn them up as the sound was terrible. Every couple of minutes they go quiet or beep for no apparent reason and all I could hear was wind on a very mild day? Really miffed I spent £179 on these. I would have preferred headphones that I could just pop in and go, with excellent sound quality. Urgh. And what's with all the WF-SP800N rubbish? Who does your branding? Boo Sony.
