Highest gear : Front 3, Back 9. Downhill, plain road high speed. Gear Down: Front 2 or 1, Back 3, 2, or 1; for flyover and uphill. Normal ride: Front 2 or 3, Back 5th or 6th.

I follow the following gears. Front 1 - Rear 1,2,3 Front 2 - Rear 3,4,5 Front 3 - Rear 5,6,7 Most of the time I use front 2 and rear 5. You may try and give feedback.

Very lucidly explained. I purchased a MTB two days back. But not knowing the intrinsic about gear changing. After watching your video got the insight and really extremely thankful to you. Love to watch future videos and subscribed already. No one has given tips like you have given. You can include a diagram of gear combination to explain. Like what is upgear and what is down shifting. Thumb is for upgear and index finger for downgear. Gear no starts from inside to outside, 1 to 7

Very well explained. Your videos has helped me understand the system in depth. I have only one doubt. The dealer of my cycle, Hercules FX 100 told me not to lubricant the system with oil or grease as it will attract dust. Is it correct? You have said that it should be lubricated once in 15 days

Every 200 km ride must be followed by cleaning chain and lubricating for smooth ride else it will get jammed gradually. Do not use grease it will attract dust.

Dear, such an informative video. I have purchased a MTB of 21 speed just 1 week back. My front and back gear combination is 2 and 5. For the last two days while pedalling it becomes very uncomfortable because my pedals become too loose sometimes and sometimes it works properly. And there is a constant cracking sound. Even my feet have slipped very often while pedalling. Can you please tell me why this is happening?
