Hi, I have a 2016 Acura mdx and I need to replace the transmission control module. When I install the replacement used module the ignition does not turn on at all. With the old module the car starts up and communicates with the scanner. Any ideas?

Yes at the time the machine was newly updated and it was able to do it wifi with usb cable. only thing i had to do it 2x ..Bmw EGS

She said follow the on screen instructions to turn the ignition ON and then OFF. ha ha. Yeah that part always beats me. someone said it was about some device called an ignition key. put it in the lock thing and turn. Very difficult.

Good day.....I replace faulty ECM on Hyundai sonata 2016..... please the procedure for programming it using Autel Scanner

Bull, SCN coding does not work in any shape or form on my brand new 908 pro with J2534 programming. Cant find it, variant coding yes. Cant find any info on weather this is a subscription or how to get it up and working. It is a quality tool but it is real close to being sent back if i dont figure something out real quick. Do i need to buy the updates and drop another 1200 bucks on Autels website on this brand new setup that i have had for 2 days ?

Anyone know if this can tell my car it now has 6 gears instead of 5 after a conversion from a better spec vehicle, cruise control only works up to 5th gear and when I put it in 6th the display goes blank

No, this will only reprogram with factory software. See a tuning specialist to solve that.

I think most manufacturers charge around $100 for a one time update that is directly downloaded from the vehicle manufacturer's website.

Unfortunately, this device cannot program my 2008 vw key. I tried all the available immo data, but none worked

+chino obi The maxisys pro can not do ecu programming on Chrysler or volvo, it can only do ecu programming on Benz and BMW.

Yes. You do. G.M. Ford and Chrysler all have fairly priced access. I think about $35 for a 24hr. access window. (As many vehicles of that make can be be done in that window. European vehicles are approximately $75 per reprogram. Check Motor manuals website for the j2534 website with prices.

NO sadly. DO NOT buy the drew technologies cardaq 3 it's a watse of money.. Buy the NISSAN BOSCH RNM VEHICLE INTERFACE CONSULT 3 PLUS VI3 or the Bosch MTS 6535 as they are they only to 2 that properly work with Nissan Consult. Your welcome as i just saved you $2k. I wasted $2k to figure all this out sadly I wish someone would have told me.

No there not.

This above hyp is nothing more than sharp practice advertising ! Nothing will work with this unit unless you have an internet connection when programming contemporary modules, etc. Also, the manufacturer's specific codes that are required are virtually unobtainable to the independent user, even for key programming. Autel Inc, does not give out information. However, unless support is given & subscriptions ££££ are paid to the particular vehicle producer this unit is a dead duck !

They use bmw because its the easiest in the word an a walmart scanner can do it
