Thanks for all the tips! Do I need to wait 21 to 30 days for the chalk paint to cure before clear coating?

Hey Theresa! We recommend waiting 21-30 days for cure time because a lot of customers will put the clear coat on when the paint is still wet between layers. Some of our content creators wait a week or two and then they apply clear coat. If you are not sure if a piece is completely dry then yes, please wait the full time to cure! ❤ I hope this helps!
I'm asking the question below, so after using chalk paint on a piece, I have to wait 21 days until I can apply a clear coat?
How long after applying can the furniture be used? I want to put it on my dining room table. Thanks

Hey Jane! Gator Hide takes 48 hours to dry and 21-30 days to fully cure! I would let it sit and feel it after 48 hours but the properties won’t be 100% until it is fully cured. I hope this helps!
Can you spray Dixie Belle satin clear coat? If yes what is the formula of clear coat to water?

Kare, Yes, you can use Clear Coat, Slick Stick or BOSS in a paint sprayer and there is no need to add water.
Do you need to sand in between each clear coat?

Hey Kassie! It is not necessary to sand in between but if you notice you have streaking and or brush stroked, this helps eliminate those issues! I hope this helps!

How do you prevent brush strokes?

We recommend you very lightly sand your piece, clean it well, and then apply very thin coats of Clear Coat in one direction only. Do not back brush when you apply the thin coats and less is more. We hope this helps! Have a great day and happy painting! :)
