    Enjoy your videos gunman... I use this gun daily on all my paint jobs. I paint the metro buses in Seattle. I like it way better than my tekna pro lite. It is one the easiest to use and clean. Keep up the good work brother.

    I have my lph400 set up like so.29psi trigger pulled.fan is 2 turns in from fully openfluid control is 2.5 turns from fully closed. That works great for a medium solids clear, but for a good high solids it sucks. Any tips on changing things around to help with a thicker high solids.

I look forward to the video and the affects of certain changes on a panel as Im sure a ton of painters are as well. If you have time in the video explain quickly if you can the changes in your pressure settings on a hot day vs a cold day. We love you videos here in the US! Thanks again.

    Have you ever had this gun shoot heavy on the ends of the fan pattern? I did a silver paint job a while back, and the fan was so uneven it left me with stripes. I tried choking it in to save the job, but failed and ended up redoing the whole thing with a different gun. Settings were: 25psi at the gun regulator, 3 turns out material, full open fan. silver cap.

    Hey cody you might want to try this ... turn the nozzle so the pattern sprays horizontal, put a big piece of masking paper on the wall as a test panel, turn the pressure to about 23lbs on the regulator , then spray in one spot at the proper distance as if your painting for real, then watch the way it runs down , keep adjusting the pressure up or down till the runs are eventually dripping down he paper . After that you should have an even spray . Oh have the fan all the way open . Hope it helps

    Cody F Wide open fan. Load your gun, spray looking at the fan, adjust air pressure as air pressure can affect the way your fan sprays. Too high on most guns can cause tiger striping (outsides of the fan to shoot more material leaving stripes). Too low, you get a heavier muddle spray and will probably mottle (heavy grouping of the metallics in the muddle, light on the outside) the metallics in a metallic paint code.

I have one low budget gun with 1.7 for primer, but I want a good gun(one gun) for base color and clear.. which one would you recommend and which nozzle for paint which for clear?? Thank you very much. Grettings from Croatia

    Hey Gunny, Whats your opinion on the Supernova as for as finishes go. I know you said it was harder to setup than the lph400 which i own but i want a different clear gun. I have the sagola 4600 extreme and its awesome but i kind of wanted a different gun and different brand for clear vs. having to sagolas.

    hey gunman, I own a devilbiss gti pro and my boss at work owns a iwata w400(the English version of this gun) , he won't let me use my devilbiss at work and makes me use the iwata instead because he says it uses less paint than my devilbiss, what are your thoughts on this? I find the devilbiss easier to use myself to be honest.

    I totally agree on your observation; in contrast to the supernova, the LPH 400 has a much easier setting and argonomicaly fits much more comfortable in ones hand, is lighter and sprays, comparably equal!!! I prefer using: W400, LPH than the newer super nova!!! Just my thoughts.

  • @TheGunmanChannel

    @TheGunmanChannel

    I find that you can use less paint with less pressure so using base I'd run it from 20-25 (closer to 25) because its a different product to clear and not the finished product it wont go on as peely as the clear so I like to up the pressure on clear as to not compromise the quality of the finished product.

    i bough the lph 400lv here in the U.S. I am waiting to use when I get to base and clear. I think the difference is in the supplied air cap. Mine , as yours says 16psi at full trigger pull. I'm using 3/8" hose with 3/8" connectors and a regulator at the wall, no flow valve on the gun. How did you make out spraying at 16psi?
