How to USE an OVEN THERMOMETER for Baking Cakes.

How to use a digital oven thermometer is what today's video is about.
Earlier on in my baking days, I purchased a fabricated Nigerian oven and that's what I use for baking cakes. I had a major challenge with burnt cakes until I bought an oven thermometer and started using it to get the right temperature for my cakes.
So, I would be teaching you how to read and use one.

It won't rise again. If it does, then there's a fault that needs to be checked. Your Cake would get baked faster and might get burnt too. You don't start preheating before preparing your batter except it's a very quick recipe that doesn't take time, if not it will be too hot.

If it is, just set it to 170°C if that's what you bake with and set the timer and that's all. If fabricated, then don't set to max and see what will happen. If your Cakes are getting burnt, then you might need to call a technician. I hope it's sorted as soon as possible. All the best.

Ah, no Gift. If you turn it off, how will your Cake bake? When it gets to the required temperature, put your Cake in the oven and allow it bake for the required duration.

@@missphoi6661 No, to the best of my knowledge, it doesn't except there is a fault with the oven calibration.
