How to use Alignment Shims solid beam rear axle. EZ shim specialty products company SPC EZ Shim
In this video I will explain how to use, adjust and install aftermarket alignment shims on a solid beam rear axle car which requires an alignment adjustment when the factory does not allow for any movement. The EZ shim from SPC will adjust the Camber and Toe at the same time with 1 single shim per wheel. I'll show you how to figure out how to get it right the first time.

Hey Mike, I know this is about the rear axle but I had my truck into you for alignment after I installed many new suspension parts and I know it was way off. You performed a great job and steering is perfect! Glad to see another video. Thank you for the great learning content :)

Most alignment shops will ignore the rear axle on a vehicle if it's not adjustable. Many will even counter act the poor rear alignment by going the opposite way on the front axle to make the car drive straight. Obviously, this wears tires out fast. Before these shims became available it was a lot of trial and error with solid shims till you got it right. These are a real time saver to get it right the first time. Thanks for watching. I never liked the adjustable shim I always used North star solid shims. These shims can move on you. I have done thousands of these in the old days! Yes I'm that old!! The also harder to cut out for the bolts.
