Every review that I’ve seen showing the HomePods in pairs have them sitting left and right from each other. I wanted to set them up one in front by the tv and the other closer to the sofa. Would they have an effect on the sound quality if they were not on the same table?
It’s been working great for me. I connect BT speakers to my 2 TVs and play the same song, playlist, artist, or album on both to listen throughout the house. There’s a bit of lag between the 2 depending on the distance between the speaker and the TV but otherwise is awesome for parties
4:12 holy crap that is such a useful thing to know, thank you so much lol!!!! :D

What kind of screen protector is that on your iPhone X at the beginning of the video. It looks like some sort of matte finish?
Please do a video on playing audio from the homepod without wi-fi using Air Play 2. Thank You!
Hi i like your all videos all the best
Can you use a Mac Mini or other Mac as Airplay-2 source? So that I can play to multiple speakers/Apple TV using the Mac computer?
I have 2 apple tv and can’t send video to both apple from my iphone X niether from my ipad. I updated to iOS version 11.4 and i can select both apple tv, but when i send the video for both, it doesn’t play on niether. Am i doing something wrong?
Great explanation. I have a question: I just bought the new Alexa 55 in TV with an integrated fire TV. I’m trying to see if there’s a way other than hooking up a new Sonos sound bar to it to use the airplay2 feature on the TV to connect to my Sonos system so I can run it through my backyard Sonos amp/speakers and the rest of my Sonos speakers with the TV audio. This For example would be when you’re watching sporting event on the TV and you want the audio to play on Sonos
Nice video thx. Apple slow to the game on airplay 2 and Homepod. While waiting on this have purchased Sonos speakers with Alexa. Flawless app and voice control....
can you move the music automatically if i have a motion sensor?
Thanks for this extremely helpful summary. I can’t get my Apple TV 4K (through my receiver speakers) and my HomePod to AirPlay 2 without a significant lag. Very frustrating.

The Duke of Windsor - I have the exact same issue, VERY frustrating... I hope Apple is aware of this and will fix with software update SOON!
The best explanation I could find. Thank you.
When u go into the screen mirroring and it shows an iPhone with a ✅ next to it is that your device
If I’m playing games on my iPhone, can I stream the audio to a HomePod instead of the iphones speakers (much like a regular Bluetooth speaker)
Great overview. I have a question on airplay 2. I just bought the Alexa 55 inch integrated fire TV. I am trying to get the audio to play through my Sonos speakers without using a Sonos sound bar. Can this be done via airplay 2 through FireTV? I have a Sonos amp that’s AirPlay enabled with outdoor speakers that I want to connect to. Thanks again.
Hi guys Hope you can help pls I have an ipphone/MacBook pro and I got a pair of homepod minis in my bedroom. I wanted to setup a projector in the room and stream from my iPhone while playing the audio onto my homepod minis in stereo. Is there a solution? I can’t find anything...
What do you think to the HomePod ? I have a Zipp Classic and am considering the Zipp 2 (119.00) or HomePod (279.00)
I just set up a mini PC with itunes and spotify with a tool calles „TuneBlade“ to broadcast to all my airplay devices. So as sad it is that no AirPort will ever receive an upgrade to Airplay 2, this is the best workaround I could find to get a kind of multiroom experience with AirPlay 1.
Is it useful for watching video? as in is there any lag between audio and video? I would love to use a stereo pair with my Apple TV for surround sound

I believe it works lag free as long as it's a newer Apple TV. People have been reporting phenomenal results with two HomePods.
60th viver and awesome video

Phillip James unfortunately I think airplay works through wifi only... maybe you can get a router-extender for your office!
Thanks for the great video! 25.000 unread emails though?! 😂
Lockscreen wallpaper please!!!
Are we not going to talk about that mail inbox?
was listening to cage the elephant on my speakers while watching this 😤
Why doesn’t the beats pill get AirPlay 2
This channel is fre 🤣 aking awesome 😎!
I’m not buying over two thousand dollars worth of airplay speakers to do what I can already do from my Mac and controlling it via apple Remote app. This needs to be backward compatible. I get it that speakers drop but I was dumb enough to fall for buying two houses worth of speakers once. I’m not sure I need to fall for it again. Is WiFi audio better? Yeah, but I would rather wait till a bigger leap in technology than this for my next upgrade.
I get a lot of drop out streaming to 3 Apple TVs. My Echos work flawlessly in multi room. Kinda bummed.

I stream to two Apple TV's and 3 Apple Airports: they work in sync without any adjusting, they work flawless; maybe it's a network thingie...??

It’s actually the correct way of pronouncing it. Fun fact!
It lags for me. Which definitely will be the reason I will not use AirPlay 2. Needs a lot of work. Feels unfinished.
