Apparently Signal app is captured before being encrypted on iPhones (this is how Tucker Carlsons communications were intercepted). That being said, is it more secure setting up a VPN manually rather than an app since APPLE seems to be able to capture data prior to its encryption?

I’ve had a paid VPN for a few years now. And the only problem I’ve ran into is when Apple does a update on their software my phone will not receive any emails at all. Or when I go to open a browser or even some apps it doesn’t load the page. And I have to go to my VPN app and disconnect it and also make sure the built in VPN is disconnected as well. I’m yet to turn it back on since the most recent update last week. It’s kinda frustrating having to that when everything else takes to the update. Have you heard or experienced what I explained? Appreciate your page and explanations that are very easy to understand and helpful for people like me that sometimes need the help!
