How To Use A Rug Doctor Rug Shampoo Rental From Walmart

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Got dirty carpets or area rugs? Recently I had a customer that wanted her carpet and area rugs cleaned. So I rented the Rug Doctor Pro from Walmart to give it a try. I didn't hold out much hope, but at the end of the day, the Rug Doctor carpet cleaner from Walmart worked great.
In this video, I'm going to show you what I used to clean heavily soiled carpets and an area rug. I'll also show you the technique I used to get these clean. Not all area rugs are created equal, so make sure yours is able to be cleaned with a carpet cleaner before trying the Rug Doctor Pro out on it.
The Rug Doctor carpet shampooer from Walmart cost me $45. That's a lot less than what a carpet cleaning company would have charged!
I will say, most of these carpet stains were pet urine stains from her dogs. Some had been there a long time. Other dirt was from just being tracked in from the apartment parking lot and sidewalks. I'd never cleaned heavily stained carpets like this caused by dog urine, but I was pleasantly surprised at the results. I used the Rug Doctor Oxy cleaning solution even though Rug Doctor has a cleaning solution for pets.

I recommend dumping the dirty water down the toilet and not the kitchen sink.

Both have to be cleaned. Just easier using the kitchen sink in this instance.

Thanks, kind sir! I was about ready to spend $300 on a new Bissell carpet cleaner. I had no idea that rentals available today were near professional-grade equipment. Twenty or 30 years ago, those available at local grocery and drug stores were not much more than a glorified shop vac. You just saved me $250! You win the KZread award of the day! 🏆

Because of COVID, we have not had Stanley Steamer in our house now for 2 years. Never had we gone so long. I'm going to clean my carpets myself, as badly as I don't want to. And my carpet is the same light color as yours. Thanks for showing how to use the Rug Doctor. I hope for no problems or issues when I rent mine. Helpful video, thanks!

@9:00 - oops 🤦Unless you live in an apartment ... wouldn't recommend draining that nasty water ( with probably years of junk / germs) in the kitchen sink bcuz you gonna end up having to clean / disinfect that sink before you use it with any food/kitchen related items !! creating more work for your self ! 😒Restroom sink or the toilet would be a better choice if you got no outdoor ! Otherthan that... great demo man!! Much appreciate ... I'm Sold !! ☺🙌

I have nothing good to say about the $42.00 spent on renting one, using their solution. Dog doo 2hrs max before cleaning didn't come out. In retrospect I should have used freezing cold water with oxyclean instead , a clear Target scrub brush, and my shop vac already good for wet vacuums.
