    Even though carpet cleaning is a relatively simple process, this video did a great job of communicating how it works so I wont have any surprises or hesitations when I go to do it. And that 5 gallon pail tip was very helpful. Thanks a lot!

    A very helpful step-by-step video. It's going to be such a pain to thoroughly vacuum, move furniture and get the machine, that I wanted to know HOW the Rug Doctor works before trying to use it. This video was so worth watching. I now know what to expect.

    Let me say good video. I did not realize that my local ace rent carpet cleaners. Since I'm definitely renting one this week I might as well make it to my local Ace store. Everybody there are some of the nicest people in retail. I don't believe I have ever had an issue. I like the one-on-one customer service that ACE provides. This way when I go there to rent a machine I can get their opinion on what solutions that I need to do a good job on my carpet. I will definitely come back to this page and give a review.

    Great video. I've used Rug Doctor rug machines many a time. QUESTION--- We will be cleaning 3 bedrooms in a home we are buying. We don't know if dogs lived there previously. Good idea to just use the Pet Cleaning solution?

  • @AceHardware

    @AceHardware

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hi Debbie, The benefit of the pet cleaning solution is that it includes in its formula a deterrent from pets remarking the spots. We suggest using the Pet Product if you see obvious signs of pet stains and/or if you have pets coming into the new home. Your pets may find that area and remark it. If you don't have pets nor see signs of pet stains, then just stick with the standard carpet cleaning solution since you don't need the deterrent benefit. Hope this helps! Good luck in your new home!

Machine to hire was 38 and i gues chemicals extra. Then have to collect and drop off machine which would take me an hour at least. Also machine must be returned clean. Maybe next time i will hire one out.

    Is it safe to use clorox bleach in a rental machine? Is it heavy when pulling/ dragging back in comparison to a vacuum cleaner? I have limited mobility. Great clear instructions thank you😊

    I don’t know if it’s safe but I add bleach to the water. Like a teaspoon per gallon

    I'd say on a scale of 1-10 it's about a 4? When not filled with water, the Rug Doctor is about the same weight as a vaccuum. We suggest you fill it with the water it requires after bringing it upstairs. Hope this helps!
