Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Demonstration showing how to use the Bunn Speed Brew Classic 10 cup coffee maker which is one of the fastest brewing coffee makers on the market. In this video I cover the initial setup detailing every step along with brewing a full pot.
As a side note, this coffeemaker operates differently compared to other models such as Mr. Coffee, Black and Decker, etc. which will be explained in the video.
Hope this proves helpful and Please Subscribe!!

These coffee makers last forever! I've owned two, the first one lasted TWENTY YEARS, the second one is STILL working after 18 years. Well worth every penny. When my current one dies, I'll get my last one, because I don't have twenty years left. I wish more companies would make quality products like this.

My original kept over flowing the basket area. I have had Bunns for 30+ years, and that mystified me. Couldn't figure out what was happening. I got a black and decker. Lol
You saved me. I bought this second hand and was ready to toss it. Thank you!

Very helpful! I had lost my manual and needed to set up my Bun from storage. Very easy to follow directions. I appreciate the video!
Thanks for the video! I just started learning how to use one today at work and was confused how to run it. This helped tremendously!
Very informative. My Bunn has been in storage for about 6 months and I forgot how to do the initial setup. Thank you!!
Thanks for the informative video. True story. Bought one of these used from an eccentric millionaire for 5 dollars. Watched this video and immediately walked it out to the trash can. I ain't doin' this.
Thank you for sharing. I had this coffee maker sitting in my office for months. 😅I finally with your help got it working. 😂
You just taught me how to make my first pot of coffee, thank you! 😁😅
It would have hit 160 degrees if you would have put temperature gauge directly in the coffee pot. In the directions in the manual is actually says to put some hot water in your carafe and dump it before setting it under your coffee maker. Your cold coffee mug lowered your temperature 😊
Great video ❤thank you for sharing 🙏🏽👍🏻 A friend of mine gave this same coffee ☕️ maker to me. She found it at a good will and it was still in the box. I don’t think she gave much for it. But I didn’t know that new it was a $109 maker. Wow. Thanks 🙏🏽 again from centralTexas.
Thank you thank you for the demonstration. Perfect.
Very good demo! This is the pot at work, and it’s baffling!

This was sooooooo helpful!!! I was so confused before watching this
I’ve only used commercial Bunns before and didn’t know about the shutoff plunger under lid. I’m glad to know this because reading the instructions made me wonder how to use the carafe to pour water in as well as have it on the burner. My Bunn should arrive next week.
this was helpful, thank you
Thank you so much- very informative!
I would think the coffee might cool 5 degrees as it pours into the cup. If you take the temp of the full pot it is probably at least 165 or more. Great demo I say. Thank you very much and HAPPY NEW YEAR. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Very helpful. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this video. It is beyond baffling that the BUNN instruction manual doesn't explain this (i mean it explains what to do but not why or how).
Sooo helpful thank you. Brewing my first pot now.
Thank you, very helpful
Folgers Coffee in a Bunn?? Thanks for the tutorial of setup. I've sent this to a family member. I like your accent when you say "coffee". We call it Starbucks where I'm from :)
Thanks bro this thing was f me up when I was trying to figure out at first, cause so far I couldn’t see into the water holder 😅😅
I had one of these. It's fast because it constantly cycles the heating element on and off 24 hours a day to keep hot water available at all times. Just wanted to cover that again if folks aren't aware. In other words this coffee pot stays on and pulls electricity 24/7 to make quick brewing possible. Makes PERFECT sense in an office environment, just didn't like that fact for home use.

Your Christmas lights will pull more power. My only problem is, the coffee is not hot to take on the go. It gets hot to drink now
We've used these on and off since the 80's! Interesting tidbit is the models back then did not have the "on/off" switch (I like how you call it that) in the top tank. Instead, they included a separate plastic container with markings. As soon as you started pouring water into the unit it would start coming out. This probably caused a lot of coffee spills if other people were using your coffee maker, so then they added the additional switch so the water stays in the top until you close the flap (and no longer included the separate container). I liked having the separate container because you're not going to have hot coffee dripping into a container that had cold water in it... so the temp of the coffee won't get pulled down a few degrees by the cold pot. Even with my non-Bunn units, I still use my old plastic Bunn container to fill it instead of the pot itself (and often run the pot under hot water first), which makes a difference if you're only brewing a small pot of coffee.

Do you have to fill with 2 full pots like we just did for initial set up each time? I followed you and did great Was all the water heating in tank at set up repeated each time forward before I make another pot?
Sweet
Do you have to leave the on and off switch on 24-7?? Are do you turn the switch off once done using?
I plugged it in for about 2 3 mins before setup think itll be good still?
I had to repair mine. I was able to measure the internal tank water temperature. Mine is about 194 degrees. So the coffee is brewed near the ideal temperature, even though it might be a little cooler in the pot. What went bad was a internal thermal fuse. I got a replacement fuse from a ebay seller.
Bunn should hire you because this coffee maker is way too complicated to use. I wish I could return it. Oh and David's cookies are the best
Do you leave the button on the side in the “on” position like all the time???
I bought a used one, do i still have to do an initial set up? Can't seem to get mine to brew.
Solid video. But for $100+ I don't like the sub-160 degree temp. I am interested what the temp of the slurry is on this, which I think is the crucial point in brewing. Also, a su-four minute brew time worries me. Is that enough time for good extraction?
@jamietodd9741

Espresso is extracted in 30 seconds.
Is the flavor the same or as good as the commercial bunn coffee makers???
Hello, I just purchased this coffee maker and I still have a question. Do you leave the tank power switch on all the time or do you turn it off after every pot?
@daniellegarcia8299
Жыл бұрын
Leave it on, it’s supposed to keep the water hot for the next fast brew pot of coffee.
I would like more comments on the temperature. The shut oof is suppose to be around 200 degrees.
Do you have to fill the reservoir after every pot
@truckinman86
Ай бұрын
Only the top reservoir. Basically what happens is that once the lower reservoir has been filled (shown in the video), adding fresh water in the top reservoir pushes hot water out of the lower reservoir and that is what brews the coffee. The cold water that was just added doesn’t go immediately into the coffee but gets left in the lower reservoir to get heated to be used for the next round of coffee.
Just got one of the "elite" model and having A TIME with the learning curve after using drip coffee makers for my entire life. Guess I just needed it explained to me with a Chicago? Accent. I was wondering why the water would whizz straight through and try to brew 20 cups in a sitting, I need to open the flap and stop it at 10. And just...leave it open?
@CounterClutter

So you can only make a full pot?
I bought a slightly used pot and needed these very clear instructions. But it seems i need to always leave the pot turned on, or should i turn it off and allow 15 minutes every morning for it to heat the tank? That defeats the purpose of the fastest cup of coffee, no?

Depends, if you're going to use it daily leave it on to get that 4 minute completion time benefit. If only using once and a while then switch on as needed. Glad the vid helped either way!

Hello sir good video, but you failed to emphasize using ONLY BUNN filters, you cannot use standard paper OR reusable mesh filters for all the other coffee makers that have a much slower flow rate , or you will end up overflowing the basket !!

You don’t. It stays there, hot, until the next pot. The cold replaces the hot.
Mine goes too fast. I get watered down coffee, I can see through the carafe, I can see the bottom of my cup.
So basically what I'm seeing here is that the fastest brew coffee pot is only fast after turning it on and waiting 15 minutes to brew?

Bought one on eBay thought it was broken 😂
I'm a one-cup-a-day coffee drinker. Bought the Bunn Speed Brew CSB2B model last week because that line of Bunn brewers is Made/Designed in the USA (I won't buy "sheet" from china, and long before covid). It's a great coffee maker, but unfortunately its design doesn't allow you to brew only 1 cup at a time. After the initial set up, you must add at least 4 cups of fresh water (as measured by the carafe) to get the machine going. It's a waste of coffee, but it does make a nice cup.

If you only want one cup a day , then you should never have bought this coffee maker ! My wife is like you so we bought the Hamilton Beach "SCOOP" 14oz capacity easy to clean, she loves it. @@richardr2238 6 - 8 cups in the morning? Wow!! Unfortunately, Bunn is the only company I could find that still manufactures USA-MADE coffee machines. I give NO money to china for TVs, computers, home goods, etc, etc.....and that practice goes back roughly 30 years. Ever seen the YT videos of cats and dogs being skinned and boiled alive over there?

If I unplug the coffee pot do I have to begin the initial process again or just wait 16 minutes?
I bought it because it is made in the USA. That's the only reason. HOWEVER you must leave it plugged in 24/7 to get fast coffee. If you unplug it at night, then you need to let it warm up for 15 minutes in the morning just to start the process of making coffee. Who has that kind of time in the morning. I will be returning this. I JUST WANTED AN AMERICAN coffee maker.

Different brew method and construction overall. The basic 'boil and spit' coffee maker combined the base heater and water heater as one. It uses a ball valve that you can hear clicking to draw the water and as it boils in the element the ball shuts and the pressure builds then spits into the top grounds. These have an internal tank which heat and maintain the water at 200°. The top has a valve which closes the tank so you can add the water up top. As you close the lid, it opens the tank and water flows as he explained. Anyways it's built different and in the US as well so more complex build but sturdy as well. Had a Keurig before but coffee was way to weak for me unless I went through 2-3 pods per mug for me. Technically these make coffee at the ideal temperature and implements the simplest method to achieve it hence the higher cost. Still not the highest like a Technivorm.
Do you turn off the on and off switch on the side each time you make
