Ive lusted after spyderco knives forever but cant afford them so I snagged one of these a couple weeks ago with the grey scales. I put some 3 in 1 oil on the pivot and where the lock meets the blade when locked as well as when its closed (front and back of the blade) and a little in the holes where the lock is and this thing is so smooth. I really like it so far. its wicked sharp too. I did have to use some 220 sand paper around the thumb hole and the back of the knife to make it more comfortable for me but thats the beauty of a knife this affordable, you dont have to worry about doing little quality of life mods on it if you want to cause it isnt 200 dollars like a real Spyderco Paramilitary 2

Have 3 Ganzo knifes. Great value for the price. Have a Spyderco Tenacious too - it's overall better fit and finish but cost three times as much. When we talk about the Paramilitary 2 prices are just to insane for that one , i can't justify the purchase.....

I bought the blue one it was ruff on closing almost sent it back but did some cleaning and put a softer spring just on one side now its butter smooth luv it just ordered the orange one 😊

I own 3 of the smaller brothers to that knife, the 759. I LOVE these knifes. 20$, and a solid, sharp, usable knife that is really sharp, easy to sharpen, and man, do they cut. I love having a really good, cheaper knife, because I too lose knives or break them or even give them away to others who might need 1. From what I understand, GANZO has so damaged SPYDERCO sales with these knives, that SPYDERCO is now ceasing production of their models in this range because they CANT COMPETE! Others who have used both brands say that the GANZO knife is actually BETTER than the SPYDERCO simply from the blade steel used. I dont know if I agree, but I do, darn sure do, think the GANZO is a terrific product and I am glad to have the ones I do.

I own several spydercos (tenacious, tenacious lightweight, spyderco pm2 digi-cam with s35, Cara Cara 2, resilience, resilence lightweight blackout) and also several ganzos. There's really no comparison in terms of quality, Spyderco, even their budget models, are far superior in terms of edge retention and blade steel. Ergo as well (spyderco actually has functional jimping on points of contact, where ganzo uses relatively smooth, bulbous jimping that really isn't effective). That being said, the 440c heat treat that Ganzo uses is about as good as you can get for 440c, they always come sharp, habe decent fit and finish (I've only had to tweak one of them out of the box) and the value is absolutely there. I do particularly enjoy the fact that they habe really implemented the benchmade axis lock into nearly all of their designs as a lefty. Liner locks are great, pressure locks from spyderco are really satisfying, but there's something about an ambidextrous locking mechanism that really sets the ganzos apart from a lot of knives in its price range. I do wish they used a steel slightly more similar to D2 or Aus 8, but they get decent enough results out of the 440 where I would argue its pretty comparable to 8cr13mov, probably closer to 7cr13mov honestly, just a bit soft imo. That being said, if you ever do pick up a spyderco, you will absolutely feel the difference- even their cheaper models are a completely different level in terms of performance to any of the ganzos as a daily edc knife. If you have 25$, get the ganzo, if you have 60$ I'd really look at the tenacious or a used delica. That being said, If you want a solid edc blade that you don't have to worry about, ganzo is perfect for that.

I have one with the green scales. It is a great knife. Came centered and their heat treat is good. It holds an edge. After putting a mirror edge on it all I do is strop the blade. I have expensive knives, but this is one of my favorites. Thanks 🔪🎸

Having collected knives for close 10 years now, I'm confident saying there is not a better value on the market. Period. And the 440C is exc excellent. Period. Time to stop apologizing for Ganzos.

Good looking bunch. Glad everything went well. Mine is orange. I didn't have a orange knife and thought it looked good. I didn't realize how big it was until I got it. It has better steel than the spiderco, 440c, or mine is. Have a great day

👍 Looks like you have found another good knife. Not a big fan of holes in blades, but this one is not as offensive as the Spyderco models for some reason. I prefer lock back style locks. Axis and frame locks are good secondary choices IMHO. I have no use for liner locks. 😳 Pocket clip has got to go, they belong on pens & pencils not knives. 😂😂😂

I have one in black. It's an incredible value-just astounding for under $20! Quite serviceable and you don't have to worry about it. I call it the "Spyderfaux".
