If there are two plugs in vent ,use them separately marked by color, otherwise Bluetooth will not connect! ( My wall had two switches, my wall has two switches as well... That way you can turn the fan on or just leave the light on!

thanks for the video, I have a 20+ yr old fan and the old cover had screws holding it on. the installation instructions are very vague and don't mention the spring slots. my fan has the slots so it worked once I saw that I needed to use them

This fan only works with the flat plug as show in the video. If your fan has the corner plug, it will not fit.

We just installed one. The sound of the fan is louder than the speaker volume, and we have the phone and app volume maxed out. Is there something we're missing from the install or some way to increase the volume on this?

Howdy, partner! You should be able to hear the speaker. Have you tried a different app on the bluetooth? KZread should be clearly louder than the fan. If you still can't hear, I would consider returning as a defective unit. Best of luck to you and hope it gets fixed!

@@MRGREGSHOWTO Yep. Tried KZread first, then a different app. Both were apps I use with other Bluetooth speakers (car, separate speaker). Literally the sound from the fan was almost imperceptible. I'm reading the reviews on this fan/speaker. Very common complaint. Broan told me today they blamed it on the 4" female connecting to a 3" duct. Not sure I can buy that.

How is the sound quality of the speaker?
