Hi Omo , go into settings find software info then build number - tap it until you see developers options enabled - go back settings , and look all below - tap developers options and find OEM unlock turn it on and your ready to start good luck I showed this clearly in the set up video

Thank you for the video. I followed it to a T and upgraded my SM-T530Nu. However, I found out out that every time, I restart the T530, I lost the date and time which reset back to Sep 2022. I found out there is no 5GHz WiFi? Do you know if the Lineage OS 18.1 help to resolve the problem? Thank you again.

Hello buddy, can you give me a word of advise? My T530 constantly freezes on recovery.img in Odin's log when trying to write twrp to device. It stops shortly after clicking the Start button and nothing happens until I remove the cable or turn off the device. I tried 4 different Odin's versions and 3 different twrp versions but the output is always the same. How can I check if I have a locked bootloader (cannot dial, fastboot always looking for device but not recognizing it)? In options I turned the USB debugging on, there is no OEM unlocked option though.

Welcome 👋😊 I don’t know your set up did you install gapps .. full or lite ? And how many apps are runnng g on the background? Try killing what your not using and did you do a clean install - format data confirmed by typing yes rebooted back into recovery copied rom to device and flash reboot to system without gapps ? Try these things

hmmm let me think - Did you before flashing the rom in twrp select Format data and confirmed by tupong yes - rebooted back into recovery then copy rom to device internal or external .. flash rom and flash gapps reboot - this should fix the problem - please report back

after pressing 3 buttons my tablet do not show downloading mode. Instead it shows such 1. reboot system now 2.apply update from ADB 3. apply update from external storage 4. apply update from cache 5.widedata/factory reset 6.wipe cache parttition 7. reboot to boot loader 8.power down .... So what to do now? My tablet is T530 XXS1BRH1. Please advise

i wanna do this and i dont wanna lose bluetooth, and i read if i write down the Bluetooth MAC adddress (settings, device, status, scroll down a bit) i wont lose them, and may have to adjust the wifi 5ghz channel to get it if i cant find it. but im excited, i want to do this so i can use an Ipega controller with it, using it with Moonlight so i can stream from my Gaming PC to the tablet.

Hello Sir, thanks for your great video. After installing the lineage-18.1-20240424-UNOFFICIAL-matissewifi.zip and the opengapps, the tablet is not booting to android. It is tuck at the Samsung Logo. I can still reboot in recovery mode however. In your video you mention an image for older devices (my SM-T530NU) had Android 4 on it before the upgrade process. Can you point me where I could find these images for the older model ? I notice on the instructions on the xdaforums that it should be at 5.0.2. Can it be the cause ? I am not sure I had turn on OEM unlock though, am I screwed? Best regards!

Are you sure ? Cause mine worked - did you format DAta and typed YES to confirm? Do that first in Twrp reboot copy rom to internal or sd card and install reboot

message in odin says to delete samsung google account - it is not possible to use the device without unlocking, changing the partition without unlocking will cause problems - I don't remember any of that info

Holaaa amigo como esta 👊😊 what gapps did you install ? First boot android without gapps if all works good we go install gapps go for core arm 64 or Arm im not sure if this device is 32 or 64 but go to nikgapps.com follow instructions on website but go for CORE build

@@sxstemm Ok I understand - important to manchen is that I find youtube most of the times when installed via gapps on custom roms - plays for seconds the. Boem stops playing - So its not worth installing Gapps - Installbthe rom - with pc go to Fdroid and download aurorastore - Get Firefox and use that for youtube - log in with a 2 step verification protected Gmail account and you will be watching KZread on 11 - another altenative is NewPipe - also available via Fdroid website - it has a search so no need to install fdroid first to get started - Alright your about to flasj Twrp now so good luck - when in Twrp contact me again then we will flash the 11

@@sxstemm The 3.4 is newer remember the very first time you need the .tar and not .img - so make sure the Twrp extension ends with .tar - go ahead 10 is perfect
