I have jbl flip 5 and jbl flip 6 I want to set parmently party booster mode on but now I'm doing every time party booster button pressing

How do you downgrade the flip 5 bluetooth 5.0 down to bluetooth 4.0?

I dare not upgrade my flip 5 firm ware, afraid something might go wrong and cause my flip 5 not working. Well, I am content with my current firmware.

Hi. What should I do if my JBL Flip 5 is not responding. It only responds to the power button. When I want to turn it on, I have to hold the power button for a few seconds, also I have to hold the power button for a few seconds when I want to turn it off and it doesn't make a turning off sound. When other buttons are pressed, the battery status LED lights up (does not apply to bluetooth button). This means that the speaker knows that I pressed the button, but it does not take any action. I tried the reset but it doesn't work. I hold the play button and volume up button for almost a minute and nothing happened. Any advice?

I'm sorry to hear you have issues with your JBL speaker. Does this issue appeared suddenly? Maybe it felt? Or you pushed some button combination? It's sound like issue that should be looked by technician. But If there a chance to connect your JBL speaker to your phone maybe firmware upgrade will solve the issue.

@@LevinsReview The problem is quite recent, but I don't know when exactly it started. Unfortunately, when I tried to fix it, I accidentally unpaired my smartphone and since the pairing button doesn't respond, I can't connect to it. I managed to update the firmware, but unfortunately it didn't help. It plays music normally and for example I tried to connect via usb to PC and turn on "Secret/service" (for playing music using a cable) mode and it worked normally. I will probably visit service.

Hi. Thanks for the video. I have a Flip 5 and in a previous video you explained how to hear the voice prompt to find out the firmware version of the speaker, by pressing the connect button and down volume button. I did that and the voice prompt said 0 3 0 5. Then I connected the JBL App and connected the speaker and the app said I was up to date and running version 0.5.6.0. I have a second Flip 5, so I tested it and the voice prompt for this speaker says it is running 0 3 0 3, but the App also says it is up to date and running 0.5.6.0. How come the voice prompt and the App Firmware versions are different? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the JBL App, and doing a factory reset to one of the speakers, but the results were the same.

That is really interesting, i tried to find answers online but i didn't find anything about it. So I contacted with JBL support, basically they said you should rely on the app. And they don't know how to solve it or what causing this issue....

Wow, thanks to this video, I updated the JBL Flip 5 speaker firmware perfectly! thank you so much. I was really impressed by the detailed and easy explanation. Thanks to this video, I was able to save time and upgrade my speakers.

Jbl tune 2 looks like cute wireless earphones, so based on my research you should pair your JBL with your smartphone. Download the JBLl app from google store. Connect between the two and if the firmware upgrade is available you can upgrade your gorgeous wireless earphones

Reverting a firmware upgrade on a JBL Flip 5 speaker is not officially supported by JBL. Once you upgrade the firmware on the device, it is generally not possible to roll back to a previous version I never had this issue by mysrlfy so i recommend to reach out to JBL customer support for assistance. They may be able to provide troubleshooting . Let me know hot it goes

@jay beans that's after you updated it, sadly they removed it I read articles about the differences in terms of sound quality after the update, no differences so far except for the absence of lfm Not updated mine and still have lfm till this day:D

@@st12p4-benitezkramnikpaul6 I think better not upgrade it cause so many problem happen after upgrade. I am contented with my flip 5 w/o upgrade. I enjoy more using lfm mode. If it is removed after upgrade then no point in upgrading.
