vcs light all depends on the car and if the obd plug is facing up or down be carefull. toyota have the plugs on both ways on their cars.

I've performed several different ways to reset the lights. But the only problem is that if your O2 sensors are bad or the traction control sensors are bad, the lights will return. I'm not and auto mechanic, but boilers and mechanical equipment seem to be similar with problem lights. If the sensors are bad, the lights will keep coming on. But if it is just s computer reset issue, it will probably work.

Your are correct, your ob2 scanner will let you know if an o2 sensor is bad. But yes I agree

sorry for that misunderstanding what I'm trying to say is that there is a paper clip method on KZread and that's what I was just asking is could you use paper clips but anyway back to your demonstration do you stick the other wire that goes into the 5th hole inside of or in front of the hole I'm so sorry for this message

No offense but I couldn’t understand what you did or how you did it. Might be good to start from the beginning before you stick wires anywhere. Also it doesn’t help much if you don’t show the problem when it’s active. Then we can watch it get fixed.

Have an ‘08 Sienna XLE. had all these random misfire codes (VSC) and even would have to shut my van down as the “traction control” light would blink along with the engine light causing the van to lose power and decrease in speed, till I shut it off and restarted it. And that would take care of it for a week or so then back again, usually one the Highway. So off to the shoulder again as the van would slowly lose power and buck and gas be basically unresponsive Seems like maybe the compression was changing over the 200,000 miles as i started putting premium gas in and the higher octane was the key.. as all the codes went away (once cleared) and never came back. Same spark plugs. I did change one injector (before I switched to premium gas) as it did have that code come up for the number 2. But the check engine lights would still come on. But same spark plugs on all 6 cylinders as those back are just too hard to change without a good reason. Again premium gas and all my check engine lights and blinking lights are a thing of the past and it’s nice having a dash free of those. (Those lights came on probable a dozen times in the past. But now problem solved for like 9 months now and counting.

Your procedure didn’t work for 2004 GX470! For GX470, use pins 4th from right (5th from left), top & bottom. Turn to On (do not start), tap one of the pins 7 times, indicator will blink fast. Turn vehicle off. Bridge both pins (put both wires in), turn vehicle on (do not start), leave vehicle in on position 3-5 seconds, turn off. Start car, indicator will flash and go off, VSC calibrated to 0. Works every time. This procedure was necessary after replacing brakes, alignment, low battery voltage, brake fuse or brake lights (error never cleared automatically).

Finally! A decent question. I can't believe all the stupid, ignorant questions these people ask. On the "T" though it's the wire going to the head lights & the horn.

mine does nothing at all. if i hold both end in there everything flashes and never stops then when i remove wire all lights return as if i never did anything

I don’t understand the other video that he’s referring to turn the ignition key on do it four times within eight seconds turn the key off and then it states to connect them together and turn the key on again to reprogram the calibration sequence and then turn it off I like that other video better than this guy stick it in this hole and stick that one in the other hole He needs to explain better I’m not making fun of them but I’m trying to find a detailed video here and this is not sorry buddy

If the lights are there to indicate something you should know about your car, why would you want to just turn them off and ignore them?

I have three indicator lights that were created due to low battery voltage. Not an actual problem once the battery was replaced. I just needed to reset the indicator lights.

It doesnt just turn the lights off ! It resets the computer along with turning the lights off!

Literally didn’t explain what you did although you proved you could count to five, you put a wire in a hole where a pin goes and didn’t explain crap and then counted out the 1to 5 and started talking about 8 seconds. YOU DIDNT EXPLAIN CRAP
