We just got a new Samsung washer and dryer. Apparently Samsung has decided, in all there wisdom, that it should now only be possible to disable the end chime, so we are stuck with sounds on all buttons, even when closing the f...... door it makes a sound. It's so annoying!

You wouldn't happen to know how to do this on a Samsung WW90T534DAN? I've managed to switch off the annoying finished noise but the beeps when I am just scrolling through the options/menus I have no idea..I have a funny feeling it doesn't have the option to switch it off..thanks

only when washer finished its job sound can be turned off on newer models, you cannot completely turn audio off. So selecting washing modes and turning machine ON/OFF will always make sound

It's when you walk into a customers house and they are putting there machine on, you can tell what machine they have just by the tone! I guess the South Koreans think the melody is cute?

Can you change the sound?

I tried this and the sound didnt come pb

and what if you have a brand new one and the sound won't turn off? The symbol lights up with a line through it but still makes the annoying beeping sound!

Aarrgghh, this doesnt work on my brand new machine. Its a bell with a line through it that sppears after pressing those buttons rather than the mute symbol, and all the toggle, on/off chimes remain 🤯

I don’t understand,I’ve done the exact thing on mine and it still dings. Could it be a malfunction?

@Fabrice Viktor Raco I read a comment from a lady here who said the newer Samsung’s have no option to turn off the sound only the end beep Crazy! I’m getting a newer Miele tomorrow and apparently there’s no buzzer at the end of cycles so I’ll be Fkn pissed off lmao! Oh and long washes are far too long Enjoy your machine

I might be the only person on the planet earth that wants the sound on 😢

Patita Patito press and hold the spin and option button and that will do it. Apologies for the lack of commentary. Usually it will have a mute icon under two of the programme buttons if your model is different

My washing machine is Samsung model WF45K6500AW I will look for it, thank you very much, if you knew how to take away the sound of that model it would help me a lot, blessings.

I know this isn’t a super new video, but it has saved my nerves from being completely frayed by those chimes! Finally got mine off yay! Thanks for this!!😊

If you look at the facia there will be a logo of an audio icon with a line which leads to two buttons. If you push those buttons that should sort out the volume. If this isn't visible on your machine the instruction manual should give you the correct method.

for my washer turning sound off, the sound is still present. wtf

opened the panel from behind, found the speaker and busted with screw driver. speaker was near the handle to the left. its still works but a lot quieter, barely can hear it and not so annoying

@@theapplianceengineer exactly what you just stated, Einstein. There are more than two buttons on that machine. Common Sense would tell the average person to mention which ones. Just my opinion. Don't let it bother you.

@@LM-du4uv I think you will find that all the other comments showing gratitude for the video will indicate that they understood the process just fine. Also why would I be polite regarding your comment? Am I not right in thinking you were the one looking for a resolution to your problem and upon finding my video feeling the need to leave a sarcastic comment? Did my suggestion of pausing the video not come to mind to check to see what buttons I was pushing? The reason for submitting videos is to help people, if you don’t find mine helpful then go somewhere else.
