Hi i have another question. Why I am not able to see bose bass module 500 on my bose music while it connected to 3.5 mm audio cable to bose soundbar

hey there! so, the bose bass module 500 might not show up in the bose music app cause its connected with a 3.5 mm audio cable. the app usually needs a wireless connection to detect and control devices. try connecting it wirelessly and see if that helps. hope this sorts it out for you!

You actually need the remote to pair the Bose Music app 🤦🏼‍♂️

Oops, yeah you're right! 😅 Need the remote for initial setup. After that, the app should work fine.

Oh, for the Solo 5, it's a bit tricky cuz there's no app for it 😅. You might need to rely on the physical buttons or consider getting a replacement remote. Those universal remotes can sometimes do the trick too!

All these appear to need the app to be setup first. If you don’t have the remote, how can you pair the soundbar?

Oh, that's a bit of a pickle, isn't it? Yeah, it's kinda like a catch-22 situation with needing the app. But, you might still have a shot by using the buttons on the soundbar itself, if it has any, to get it into pairing mode. Or, snagging a universal remote could be a workaround. Hope you find a way to get it sorted without too much hassle!

@@hifiaudios8101 yep. No physical buttons on the bar. I’d never noticed before. Seems like a shortcoming. I unplugged all devices, plugged them back in, did a search on my tv for HDMI devices, and sometime throughout that, the soundbar finally auto switched modes as it found the right one I need. It’s working now 😄 Thx for the reply

oh no, that's a bummer. for the 300 model, it might really need the remote. have you tried looking for a replacement remote or maybe a universal one? sometimes those work. good luck with it!
