is there any difference or can you hear any difference between bose 300 subwoofer and the bose 700 subwoofer..

Well the 700 is a 10 inch sub I've used the 300 sub in a bedroom and small living room....I would say if it's a large space definitely get the 700 or you could do dual subwoofers as well

You only gain height effects with the 900

To my ears, there is definitely a more spacious and enveloping quality to the 700 in comparison to the 300. The 300 sounds "constrained" in comparison the the 700.

You switch way too fast between them during the soundtest!

I don't think so. I think it's fast enough so that your brain can hold onto it's sound compared to the others. It's almost like switching from left audio to right channel audio. It's way too clear. Going slower would just take up more time in my opinion.
