Fifteen minutes into watching this my 3 year old declared, "not this, I want paw patrol!" which was the moment I realised we were actually watching it together and he'd been absolutely glued to it since the start. That's the first time he's ever watched something of mine for more than thirty seconds without demanding a cartoon. I think the close up shots of applying glue, sand a paint really appealed to him. 😉

This looks great! I would definitely suggest adding paint to your mod podge if only for the reason you wanted to paint over it before hitting it with a spray can: The mod podge seals it for painting. But if you miss a spot, the paint propellant can and likely will melt it as you said. The black paint in the mod podge often still comes out looking kind of gray and doesn't really cover the foam. That's fine though, you can see if it has covered (and sealed) the foam so you can spray it safely.

You can spray the thinner oil wash with your airbrush then use a big sponge soaked in mineral spirits to wipe it away from the raised surfaces. It goes a lot faster though you will have less fine control.

Looks amazing! The choice of limestone really makes it. The pin washing may have taken hours, but it really makes the end result pop. Glad I'm not the only one who watches Star Trek Voyager to get through painting chores 😄

@@BroadswordWargaming it was a good show... just a shame about how it ended. Not quite Game of Thrones bad, but bad nonetheless. I am now going to be hunting down playmobile kits, and I imagine so are a good number of people 🤣

I have the same set, and it's huge! I fully turned mine to chaos, but I don't have the space to keep it together so for now it lives in pieces and it brought out when needed. On day though....
