I'm not able to order the chord with the keyboard is there any settings I have to do to play with keyword I did everything you told in your video and several other guys video but nothing work

Does anyone know if you can do this but somehow keep the notes to an exact spot when doing it and keep the notes an exact length so it'd be a perfect melody without needing to adjust/change it afterwards???

Sir, When I click the record button and plays the cords it doesn't records. Than I hit the space bar on the keyboard and the metronome counts down before record. And also the notes are short on the piano roll after stop recording although the length I pressed was longer. Please advise.

I have the same problem. Sometimes it records only one long note, or few really short notes in different places.

There are a few options that you can change if you right click on the Typing Keyboard to Piano Keyboard icon. You can set it to be a certain scale, or even to play chords. Mess around with it, it's a lot of fun.

Hello. When i press q mt note is C4, how to change it to c5 like normal?

Is there a way to change the range of notes that your keyboard can play? Or is it only starting at C4? I'm looking for a way to switch the range which would help greatly with creating chords and melodies using only the computer keyboard

If you right click on the Typing Keyboard to Piano keyboard it will give you options for the ranges on the keyboard. You can go down to C3 or up to C5.

With most drumming VSTs you can open the piano roll to figure out what keys correspond to the drum. Then you can figure out which keys should work. In most cases you can reprogram what note triggers the drum. Put it in a range that you can use with the keyboard.

Sounds like maybe you are recording from the master channel. Try routing your instrument to another insert track in the mixer?

search for an fl studio keyboard chart in google for which letters to press, also major and minor is basically basic music theory it is not something that the software provides for, however, there is an option wherein you are guided by a scale in the piano roll

when i press the keyboard icon i can play my keys but i still canmt record what im playing! and it doesnt show on the piano roll

Make sure you right click on the record button to see if the notes is checked. If that isn’t checked then you won’t record what you played

I have a doubt! If i am simply pressing keys on my pc keyboard linearly it plays C scale right. Now can i replace the scale so that i still play keyboard keys linearly but now it's let's say Em

If you right click on the typing to midi keyboard button near the transport controls you can set it up to play certain scales. I haven’t messed with that too much.

Yes. There is actually an FPC setting that you can load up. If you right click on the typing keyboard to midi button you should find that option.

If you find the button on the transport control called typing keyboard to piano keyboard, you can right click on it. And there are now some options to change the key and the octave. Turn it on by clicking on it so it is orange

Hey Mik. Right click on the Typing Keyboard to Midi Keyboard and make sure you have the "layout piano" selected. This should make sure that it works the way it does in the video.

Absolutely. As long as you are bringing it into FL Studio as a third party instrument and can use the piano roll, then you can use the keyboard setup on your computer.
